Why is that everything these days is politically correct. Forget being political, lets be correct, 9/11 war is brought to America, Bush finds a way to invade Iraq. Why is this going on. Why do we need oil when everything that we need to live without oil is within our grasps. If we would invest in colleges and high schools we would have a country with a future. i read somewhere that 40 percent of a school in los angeles will not graduate this year. NO we spend our money on oil for an economy that is moving offshore. This thought sounded a lot better in my head last week. It lost some steam. but still you get my point.

I love my husband dearly but it is sometimes bothersome that he doesn't listen to my needs and concerns. He just retired from the military which I didn't like much at all for the 8 years I lived of the 20 with him. I always dreamed of a 50's type of lifestyle due to all the time away and unpredictable lifestyle and he knew and agreed to slow things down and find a job to be home at night etc. once he retired at 20 years. After trying one home business that didn't supply a steady enough income I caved and offered for him to be a vol EMT or firefighter (which firefighter was never on my fav list) but something he always wanted to do. I had been on him for nearly a year to get in better shape and I got my wish now that I agreed to the volunteer thing. (I feel hurt that he didn't do it for me but now is going to the gym.) I feel as if my needs and wishes are 1/2 heard and he is always giving to the community, and 50% to what I want. Our love life is down and he wonders why.

I have been to Florida twice, and most of the Eastern states, but , New York City is my favorite, nothing beats the Big Apple, at least in my eyes, but a close second is the Ocean!

I just finished an interview with the state and I understand that it can take a while for them to select a candidate or canditates. However, the position that I applied for is a tax clerk and from what I understand they will be in need of people soon. Does this mean they can speed up the process or can they still take months to hire someone. Thanks in any help I can get.

No duh I know it's in Germany. But I don't really remember geography right now. I know it's near Wurzburg.. right? But I've looked at like a bazillion maps and I can't find it, even though it'd not really a tiny city. All I need to know is if it's in northern, middle, or southern Germany. Thankies in advance..

I was looking for dvds of an old tv show that my husband used to watch as a Christmas gift. I found the site dvdavenue.tv which seemed to have it for a good price. I purchased the set and got a confirmation page with an order number saying I'd get an e-mail with my order status in 48 hours. I never received an e-mail or the dvds and it's been 11 days and my credit card was charged immediately. The customer service number says their available 10am to 2am EST yet it goes to a voicemail. I'm worried it's not legitimate and was wondering if anyone else has heard of them.

I have paraphilic infantilism. I have this need to dress up like a baby and wear disposable underwear. I get the urge to do this frequently and can't resist the activity. The problem is that after I engage in the activity I feel stupid and my self-esteem goes down. When my self-esteem goes down, my clinical depression gets worse. I want to stop this but can't. The problem started around age 4 and has been continuing relentlessly for almost 2 decades now.

He's 10 years old. 4'7". Weighs about 70 pounds. Based on my research, I am thinking a 30"-17 or 18 oz. bat.

Feel free to recommend specific bats...

It's his first year in baseball. He'd prefer to be playing spring football, but they don't offer it where we just moved to. Football is his sport, but I think he's going to like baseball once he starts playing... I mention all this because I might be wrong and dont' necessarily want ot spend $100 on a bat.

haven't visited my native country for over 7 yrs, and I have loved ones there. I got so many irrational thoughts like: I'm worried that my plane would crash, I'm worried that I would be killed in a bomb ( my native country is a high terrorist target), I'm worried that I would be kidnapped, and many more worries.
should I stop worrying even though there is a great chance that all my fears could happen?

I've been following hybrids and ethanol cars for a while, but just recently I stumbled upon the Tesla Roadster sports car. It's100% electric and can go 245 miles without a recharge. It gets .12 on the gallon. And you can generate electricity through a large amount of sources, such as solar or wind power. My question is, is the future of alternate fuels actually not a fuel but electricity?

i dont know what the primary and secondary equations are... i know the primary is the one being maxed or minned... but its still confusing...

A rancher has 200 feet of fencing with which to enclose two adjacent rectangular corrals. What dimensions should be used so that the enclosed area will be a maximum?

primary (i think): xy=a
secondary (maybe): 2xy = 200
