Why is that everything these days is politically correct. Forget being political, lets be correct, 9/11 war is brought to America, Bush finds a way to invade Iraq. Why is this going on. Why do we need oil when everything that we need to live without oil is within our grasps. If we would invest in colleges and high schools we would have a country with a future. i read somewhere that 40 percent of a school in los angeles will not graduate this year. NO we spend our money on oil for an economy that is moving offshore. This thought sounded a lot better in my head last week. It lost some steam. but still you get my point.

The war in Iraq is motivated by a neo-conservative desire to have control over its oil supply. We will not move toward cleaner more efficient fuels because the oil companies would lose a lot of money if we started weaning off oil.

85% of the oil produced in Iraq is under contract to a French firm (Compagnie Petrol De Francais). And the reasons the Congress authorized military operations against Iraq are clearly laid out in the first link in the source box below. Those reasons are almost identical to those contained in the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998 which is the second link below.
Perhaps the reasons for the drop-out rate for schools in Los Angeles is the inability of the students to do their homework. It seems to be the trend among their elders.

Political correctness is the tool of censors. To control and repress the ideas and questions of the masses. And yes, the oil barons don't want us questioning why they are making ENORMOUS profits off oil and hurting the little people in America.

Why invest in education? Someone might invent a tire that never goes flat. No tube needed and then what? America's tire industry goes belly up? Oh, wait. Some already did that back in what the 50's. The tire companies bought his patent and it has never seen the light of day...
