Imagine you have a family, 4 beautiful children who want to take your advice because you are truly a loving parent and you have built a home for them safe and secure where no rapists, liars, thieves or murderers can get in, no abusers allowed to touch them and they enjoy life and light and abundant happiness and Joy .........now..........you are a very fair and loving person and someone knocks on your door and begs you to let them live with you because they are scared (there are gangs and violence in the streets and there is no safe place for this person to be) and that person says "can I be in your family I'm a good person?" and you have millions and can afford to take them in so you do. they begin to beat and rape your daughters because when you tell them the rules of your house they say "you aren't the boss of me I can do what I want'.........would you let them live there? This is the concept of what Jesus is saying about Heaven.......he's not chasing people down to punish them "K?

She said she feel she needs to know more how his Religion filters through.
Normally I'm laughing at things she says that pour into the news, as indicative of a kind of sad lack of intelligence and critical thinking skills more pervasive in this country today.
But I'm not laughing like that now.
I could reasure someone like her that a question like hers shouldn't be relevant, if it were JFKennedy.
But Mitt Romney clearly does not advocate for separation of church and state.
So, God bless her simple minded innocent perspective for once, Why on earth should her question be dismissed irrelevant?

My boyfriend and I have been together for two years. We fell deep in love and decided within a few months we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. He gave me a ring and asked me to marry him. After 1 1/2 years we decided to start trying to conceive a child as I am 39 even though we were waiting for him to get his financial affairs in order before tying the knot in a few months. Shortly after I got pregnant the lie came out that he was still married although he'd told me many times that he was divorced--even though they have not lived together for 8 years. He says he never loved her. He told me that I am the one and that he has never loved a woman like he loves me...Anyway, it's now 6 months since I found out about his lie and although he promises me that he is getting a divorce, he hasn't started any of it. I am so frustrated. I've told him I can't keep waiting for him and that he has to work this out. He tells me to be patient and trust him. How long should I wait?

To make a LONG story short, my mother has treated me like trash all of my life. She's called me names when I was growing such as vvhore and bi+ch etc. I was honestly a good kid. The kind of kid every parent would have wanted to raise. I never got caught up in sex, drugs or alcohol when I was under her roof. I was my mom's slave --> literally. When I was 18 (hs diploma and putting myself through a trade school), I wanted to have friends to hang out with outside of school. I began having people over. My mom would cause a scene and start lashing at me in front of everyone. One day I had enough when I decided I was going to the movies. She fought w/ me and told me I wasn't allowed to go. I left anyway. When I came home at 4:30PM, she said I was way past my curfew and she was ready to hit me. I told her that if she laid one hand on me I was taking her down. I did not want my mom to "own" me anymore. That's when she threw me out.
No my mom has dimentia and everyone thinks..

I look into peoples face (both male and female)... I just look for something perfect... Ive yet to find anyone perfect (not even Im perfect *faints*)... even Angelina Jolie is not perfect... if she was in Hitlers' time, she would not qualify because she did not have blonde hair and blue eyes :(
I concentrate on peoples jawlines and their cheekbones a lot... then the nose... then the lips and then the eyes... if their droopy or abnormally big etc etc

Everytime I show evidence proving the economy grows faster when the government invests in the American people instead of government that gives their wealthy friends tax cuts...
they tell me the facts don't matter.
If the percent change in:
- inflation adjusted GDP

- poverty rates
- inflation adjusted median incomes
, etc, etc don't matter,

I live in a low income housing community, where you have to make under a certain amount in order for you to qualify for an apartment (no, not section 8)- it's just apartment's for a lower amount, based on your income.I got a notice saying they were going to 'audit' my apt. what does that mean exactly ? Are they going to review my apt? Or are they going to like examine EVERYTHING ? are they going to go through my drawers & stuff like that ? scary.Ive got nothing to hide, but still it's a little invasive ya know ?
