....listening to Christmas carols being played by a Salvation Army band? I know it is something I always love....I have not had the pleasure yet this year, though!

I was shopping in Guildford last Saturday and they were out in force. It was lovely and I enjoyed watching and listening to them whilst the world went hussling and bussling by!! I gave £1 as I didnt have much in my purse. Well, no, that's a lie. I had some notes, but wanted to hang on to them!!!

Hi Hello World, No, nothing better, the Salvation Army was My Salvation.. when l was a youngster, the cabin was on the corner of where l lived.. so l often "took refuge" there. Love Jo xx

Not fond of Christmas carols... But the Trans-Siberian Orchestra plays some amazing Christmas music.

I love the sound of a real band.
That is what I love about our Christmas Parade, the bands.
They look like they are freezing but they make such wonderful music.
