Hey guys - I just got a belated advent calendar from someone at work.

Do I scoff all 12 chocolates now so I'm up to date or do I take it home and share them out with my hubby who doesn't have an advent calendar because I wouldn't buy one?

Food is the answer to everything, if we all made cakes and gave them to our neighbours you will surprised how everyone will be happy, no more fighting, no more wars, we will all live in a cakefulfilled world.
I will call it the cake plan. Any cake will do but I think Battenburg cake would be the best, closely followed by a marble cake.
Marks out of ten please

He says that it was all my idea and that I wanted to have a threesome with another guy really bad and suggested it. I do get wild when I'm drunk so it's possible that I did initiate it all but I don't even remember! If he remembers, shouldn't he have been to rationalize that it was wrong? The scary thing is that I do remember crying and hitting him and asking him why he let this happen that same night but it's all very faint. I also know that they were talking about someone having XTC so could they have slipped it to me? This is a bf of 8 YEARS! It isn't some casual, short-term relationship. This is the guy that I thought loved me with all his heart and I'm so confused. He keeps calling me since it happened and telling me not to worry and that no one remembers anything or no one is talking. Is is possible they raped me? I do have tons of bruises and I don't recall how I got them. I know that I have a serious drinking problem but he rarely drinks. What do you think of this?

someone end this arguement please..
my partner works for a man who is self employed building caravan sites... he doesnt get holiday pay or sick pay and his hours vary between 40 and 52 per week... when he gets his monthly net pay statement thing it isnt computer done or anything its simply hand writen on a piece of paper with the bosses company name on it... he does have to do that tax return thing though...
now i wouldnt class this as my partner being self-employed as in my eyes if your self-employed you pay your own wage and you dont work for someone they work for you and its your company... someone please tell me who's right in this arguement

Global warming and the melting of the arctic sea ice are happening at an even greater rate than scientists originally thought. It seems that we usually respond with laws and panic after-the-fact. Why isn't the government treating this as the crisis that it is?

Do you know what is approximately a normal amount of money to have in your savings/checking account?

I think lots of people don't like to keep much cash available in a savings/checking account -- instead they prefer to put it in investments like stocks, bonds, mutual funds, retirement plans, etc.

But you still have to have some spending money available, of course, so I was wondering what's an average amount to have? Do you have any idea?

A salesman's car breaks down, so he asks a farmer to let him spend the night, and the farmer agrees. In the middle of the night, the salesman wakes up and is really thirsty, so he decides to go to the barn and get some milk from a cow.

Soon, the farmer hears noises coming from the barn and goes to investigate. He then sees the salesman coming out of the barn-soaking wet and with a white liquid dripping down his face. The farmer asks, "What happened to you?" The salesman says, "I just got thirsty, so I milked your cow. It was so dark in there I don't know how I did it. But I'm telling you, that cow has great milk! I must have drank a gallon of it!"

The farmer then stares at him with a puzzled look and says, "But we don't have a cow. We just have a bull."

I'm trying to lose weight, I excercise by running/walking approx. 1.5-2km followed by 25 pushups, 15 bicep excercises with 5kg on each arm, 15 lunges on each leg and using the 5kg weights to do some pectoral excercises (to lose some weight off my boobs) but I kind of snack quite a bit. I'll have cereal and a glass of water for breakfast, a sandwich and a drink of water or cordial for lunch and whatever mum cooks for dinner (usually meat and veg.), but in the afternoon between lunch and dinner I get a bit peckish. I'll eat maybe anything from a muesli bar and some biscuits to a piece of cake and an iceblock! Please help me!! I did try to lose weight once before by checking my food intake and did all this excercise but I gave up after 3 weeks because it didnt seem to be making a difference although my muscles were more defined in my arms and legs (slightly). I'm assuming I weigh somewhere between 66 and 74kg (not sure because I don't have scales) and am 172cm tall (I've calculated my

I recently tried to play a store brought DVD. It opened up in media player and the computer recognised what the DVD was but said it couldn't play it, something about needing a decoder?! Any ideas?
