Three dead bodies turn up at the mortuary, all with very big smiles on their faces. The coroner calls the police to tell them what has happened.

"First body: Frenchman 60, died of heart failure while making love to his mistress. Hence the enormous smile, Inspector," says the Coroner.

"Second body: Scotsman 25, won a thousand pounds on the lottery, spent it all on whiskey. Died of alcohol poisoning, hence the smile."

The Inspector asked, "What about the third body?"

"Ah," says the coroner, "This is the most unusual one: Paddy from Ireland 30, struck by lightning."

"Why is he smiling then?" inquires the Inspector.

"He thought he was having his picture taken!"

There is this girl at my work who has become somewhat of a friend and she loves me. She has made it very clear that she wants me and that she is very interested in me. I just gotta ask this question. Doesnt it drive you nuts when people tell you to get a new car instead of fixing that beater you drive? I drive a 1993 GMC Safari minivan with over 212,000 miles that i owned since 2002. Recently the fuel pump quit, and i just had it replaced for $520.00. Before this happened the van always ran great, and i never had to add any oil before 3,000 miles. I had to get it fixed. I hated being without a vehicle, and it was too snowy to work on cars outside. When the people at work questioned me about the repair bill they told me i should of dumped the van, and bought a different vehicle. I think every vehicle has its pricey repairs no matter how old it is. My mom just spent over $350.00 fixing her brakes on her 2002 Dodge! As far as myself i am a conservative person who saves his money, and does not like a car payment.

99.9% of the time,I am the most cheerful,serene person around.In fact,around my friends and family I am nicknamed "Atheist Jesus"because I always have an optimist outlook.I am sort of the family counseler.The other night,actually for the first time in my life,as I was quietly thinking,an OVERWHELMING sense of nihilism overcame me.It was horrible,to be honest,and very UNlike me.By morning I was my normal,cheerful self again.So,do you ever have bouts of nihilism?And what do you do to combat it?I don't ever want to feel that way again

I'm writing a book covering the time I was married to an officer (now retired) in the military. Although it's about my life - it's my life as a military wife. Will I need to seek some sort of approval from the goverment before I seek to publish? Sense it's real life -an autobio kinda of ,and not fiction , this thought came to mind. R: storing can food. are there canned lobsters out there in the market and if so what brand do you suggest?
how best can i fridge some steaks without electricity. there will be many opportunities to BBQ since there will be plenty of fire available. lobster goes very well with steak! doesn't it?
