Yep. I have a real issue with a Co-Worker of mine on this exact subject. His answer to anything i bring up is "well no one is perfect". This comes from the mouth of a Man who steals company property, lies, uses drugs daily, cheats on his Girlfriend whom he lives in "sin" with and is just an all around vicious and angry person. Yet he claims Christianity.

If there was no God, the only reasons to be just or responsible in such an evil world would be fear or stupidity. The fact is... they're doing it to you and you know that's a fact.

So... do you do evil?... or are you just too scared? Too stupid to want to come out on top or figure out how? Too weak?... Either way... pathetic... In a world without God, Love, The Truth (same thing)... you're the hunter or the hunted and there is no peace. Some may like that and live to dominate, but destruction will always be the end result... Some may choose to reunite with God and live under his authority... The ones who talk about personal responsibility and believe people won't destroy themselves without God are just plain naive. Where God's rules are optional, you are a slave to evil or you're evil. They both bring destruction.

A world without God or the Godly is Hell. Keep begging for such a world... and you'll have it. This world is all about having a choice and the opportunity to see what happens in a world where God's rules are optional. Others have already pointed out how ridiculous your misconceptions about Christianity are... Maybe you need to learn a little more before you make an informed decision. The world will teach you. You may even find that you need a little forgiveness to reunite with God by the time you figure things out... and more as you learn new things and make mistakes. You might find yourself grateful to the one who made this possible. You might keep striving to do better because you have been freed from evil and more and more of the truth is being revealed to you. Worldly ways may start to make less and less sense to you as you learn more of the truth...

This is a good question but I wonder how many times it has occurred - no don't tell me. The answer lies in the process of being forgiven. To be forgiven you need to repent and repentance involves turning away from what you have done and starting again focusing on God through Jesus.
If you do something wrong believing at that point in time that you will be forgiven then you are saying that you will turn away from that wrong at some time in the future. If so, why not now?

If I point out Christians having a persecution complicated that is on the subject remember of well-liked situations & the place I stay particularly. The bible belt of the U.S. the place Christianity dominates. the way many Christians view a number of their capacity & administration being taken away as an attack on them. not considering the pass is correcting a constitutional incorrect & keeping our equivalent freedoms. i might like greater of them to verify it from the different facet. not putting their ideals above the liberty of religion each and every person has right here. i might say an identical project if yet another faith or atheists have been going too a techniques.

No, not really. Read Hebrews 10:26-27 - the admonition against "deliberate willful sin after we are saved" - most Christians understand we need to live a faithful, obedient life to inherit the kingdom of God. That our salvation is based upon both faith and works - see James. It is certainly not about "believing we can do anything".

Some people DO use that cop out, but a "good" Christian, one who is honestly striving to be like Jesus, doesn't think like that. They just admit that they are human, and as such, will mess up sometimes. But they know that all is not lost when they screw up, because they can ask to be forgiven. And, yes, everything but that one CAN be forgiven. That's the greatness of God.

The point is to not willfully sin against God.Im pretty sure when you was a christian, you might have remembered a verse in the bible that said If you were forgiven for a specific sin and you continually do it again, that theres no forgiveness for that sin, just judgement. Death bed confessionals are a cop out.

No..That is not right, As Christians we do not have a Licsense to sin.

There are though many Christians in certain denominations that in a way, after a fashion seem to think so, believing in a Monday through saturday backsliding and Sunday Salvation, Now
Christians are not perfect, having a sin nature we will still sin though saved But we are to fight it and continue to strive to be perfect in Christ though we will never be perfect while on this earth, but being perfect is not the point, it is the fight which defines us.

Now as far as those who think we have a Lic to sin ? consider these Bibilcal Verses.

Mat 7:21 "Not all people who sound religious are really godly. They may refer to me as `Lord,' but they still won't enter the Kingdom of Heaven. The decisive issue is whether they obey my Father in heaven.
Mat 7:22 On judgment day many will tell me, `Lord, Lord, we prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.'
Mat 7:23 But I will reply, `I never knew you. Go away; the things you did were unauthorized. (New Living Translation)

and this verse.

Hbr 10:26 ¶ For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Hbr 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

(KIng James Version)

Yes it is. Also a sure way to feel perpetually guilty for not being good enough. The Holy Spirit is all about satisfying our needs completely. Only when we are full can we love others as ourselves. Without The Holy Spirit to show us what those needs are and how best to satisy them, we are at the mercy of the spirit of confusion, and he will make sure your needs are never satisfied.

You are so wrong. I am a Christian and I love God and I wouldn't ever do anything knowing I have grieved The Holy Spirit that lives in me.If you know any one that sins thinking they can because they are a Christian(then they are not a Christian).Yes I do sin because I am still in the flesh but I don't just to see if God will let me because we also reap what we sow in this life.We don't get by with anything.
