My pet hedgehogs (the african species, not european) have hade odometers installed on some of their running wheels and one little guy in particular has tracked distances up to 10km (6miles) in one night (about 8 hours) which is a lot of running for a little guy. It's estimated that they can even reach speeds of up to 20km/h (12mph)

I'm not sure how the running of the European measures up with that of the African, whether it would be similar or very different. I have seen how they walk and it's kind of like a weird prance like waddle, maybe capable of running up to 12mph like their african counterpart, maybe a bit slower because of their build, maybe faster because of their size.

Are Hedgehogs Fast Or Slow

I'm not sure anyone has actually measured it, but they are surprisingly speedy. Most of the time they forage slowly for food. If they are frightened they will initially try to leg it and if confronted will roll into a ball.
The real answer, sadly, is probably not nearly as fast as a moving vehicle.

Not very in the least. In my experience hedgehogs don't do much moving in general, especially not quick moving.

Sonic is nothing but lies.
