I work for a company where there are 4 people who are all partners, so how much do I spend on each one to make it fair but also not brake my pocket book too? The partners consist of 3 men and 1 woman.

My father passed away a little less than two years ago.Since then, she has hired this RAT to come in and remodel her kitchen and install new hardwood floors.But he's all talk. I am the only one who is home while he works.If he shows up, it's not until 3 or 4pm and either works for an hour or two or he comes over for 2minutes and then says he has to go return something at Home Depot.This usually takes him a few hours to do, I'm not sure why.Oddly enough he lives right by Home Depot and he could very easily take whatever it is with him at night and return it next day.The only time he actually does work is when he is putting in something big that everyone can see. My mom made the mistake and paid him upfront and since then he has shown up with a brand new truck, a diamond watch and he's recently bought his girlfriend (who dates sugardaddies online for money) an engagement ring.Hes taking advantage of her and her situation and someone needs to stop him but I don't know how.

I am thinking of a creative way to celebrate my bday, I love healthy food, yoga, ethnic food, and dressing up. Im trying to think of a theme where I can make appetizers so I dont have to work so hard on entire meal, and fun drinks (or byob) but I can't think of any theme...that is clever and creative, and can get people to be involved..please help!!

My wife and I are interested in doing some investigation, but we’ve never done it before. I’d like to try it has a hobby, just to see what it would be like. I’ve seen the trips, but haven’t gone on one because I was already at the Queen Mary (for a different reason) and although it did feel really creepy in some areas, nothing else really happened.

Has any of you gone on these group trips and seen anything or is it a waste of money?

And if you have any suggestions on a place I’d love to hear about some good spots and what you may have seen.

I just don’t want to waste money and I do understand that ghosts don’t perform on demand, but I’d like to get something out of the trip other than a good sandwich at the local deli.

Do you like to discuss the Bible with other Christians – and even debate about doctrine and theology, bringing all the Bible verses to the discussion that support your view, and then to read, meditate on, and consider all the Bible verses that another person brings to the discussion that seem to oppose your view?

Isn’t fencing a “sport” that will help you in true battle?
Shouldn’t we practice wielding our sword?

In my relatively short Christian walk, I have found that *many* - if not *most* - Christians do not like to “fence” like this. Some even claim that it causes division. But, does it?

I often find myself questioning their salvation. Perhaps they are afraid...and want to just “blindly believe” what they have been taught...and don’t want to be challenged or changed! Is this the mark of a true Christian? Certainly not!

If Jesus is your love, then why don’t you want to get to know Him more? And how can we get to know Him more without contemplating His word, the Bible – the revelation of who He is? And if our thinking about Him is wrong, don’t we want to be corrected?

Are the people who don’t like to fence the very ones that need to fence the most?

Why do so few Christians like to “fence” with the “sword of the Spirit”?
