and don't watch them properly?....I have a friend who lets her kids touch everything so I told her once in a very polite manner that I didnt want her to come over with her children cause she lets them touch everything. Shes still angry at me for that...lol.

was looking for some new tyres online for my 2003 passat estate, punched in my reg number and many websites came back with 2 different sizes, 195/65/15 or 205/60/15, i got the 195 fitted at the mo, but does it mean i can fit 205's on the same wheel? confused...

I work at Starbucks so I can handle a fast paced job, but Ihave no experience as a bartender. Also, I live in GA what is the policy on being under 21 and serving alcohol? If you don't think I should go to bartending school how should i go about getting the job?

a lot of people are very hypocritical - they wouldn't dare say a word against the beliefs of muslims or jews but they have no problem railing against christians even to your face. how do they justify this?
also, why do so many people seem to care so much about it? you'd think they would have their own belief and just be able to leave well enough alone, but a lot of people i know who are atheists seem almost obsessed with christianity. is it fun, is it the 'in' thing to do nowadays? do they have some psychological problem? i don't get it.

Im used to web designing using HTML. However their seems to be some popularity with PSD websites whenever you search for web templates.

What am i meant to do with these?

I have Adobe Photoshop but why would i use a Image editing program to change the text on a website.

This is really puzzling me?

Can someone give me a brief description of why these are used and why they are PSD files..

Example, how would i make a hyperlink :/

Does the fact that a child lies a child disobeys,with no teaching from anybody,wasnt taught,wasnt encouraged to lie,wasnt told to lie;but of the childs own free will,chose to lie(more than likely cause he/she realized the negative consequences of telling the truth);chose to do evil and not good. Does this not disprove the thought or idea that people are naturally good?

I'm quite sure that if I went and surveyed a 100 parents, and asked "Did you any anyway teach your kid(s) to lie?To be deceptive?To be dishonest?To be unobedient?"
I'm quite certain,very sure all of them will answer no to those questions. So how can you say people are naturally good?We're not, nobody has to teach us how to be evil,but it takes considerable time and effort to shape people,mold people,and encourage them to be good.

WANTING to be good AND ACTUALLY being good are 2 different things;people by no means,from the bum on the street to the president of any country,people by no means are....

I have some overtime coming to me on my next paycheck... I know a few people from here who have worked overtime, except they didn't get paid for it. What the boss did was apparently pay them their regular 80 hours (2 weeks) pay and then gave them a seperate check. On this seperate check was their regular wage, for the hours overtime they worked. No taxes taken out.

I'd like to do this the legal way and also not get screwed out of money, and get a real, legal overtime check. If I do get this kind of illegal overtime check, how do I confront the boss without him getting mad, and without getting fired? (people have brought up the idea that it might upset him and make him fire me if I question his ways)

Some other minor points about the boss and my job: The boss used to be a cop, so I THINK he might have some sort of respect for laws and our legal system, hopefully. Also a lot of non-English speaking people work here, so I think this illegal overtime thing is to screw them out of money since they don't really understand? He's said before things about giving them the jobs that they "can handle" and "understand" so maybe he assumes they won't question this under-the-table way of paying overtime.

I currently claim Income Support due to severe health issues. I'm due a payment on the 27th but with people off on strike etc I'm unable to call and ask if this date will change because of Christmas.

Can anyone please advise if they are in the same situation or know if December 27th payment will change? Thanks :)

I know it may seem odd to have this on the society and culture section but it is more of a general population topic. I have been doing research and contemplating on this topic for over two and half years now. Hearing voices is not nearly as rare as some people may believe. Just do your own quick research on the internet and you will find that possibly millions of people globally experience them. I have narrowed the experiences to:
1) Mild and memory (where the sufferer hears their name being called or their inner vocal mind turns memories into voices to help process the experience.)
2) Mental disorder (I'm sure the majority of people are familiar with this one.)
3) Government intervention/experimentation (possible under certain circumstances and often well documented but still very rare.)
4) The Gift (often associated with brilliance, the 'hearer' gets vocal messages to change their behavior in order to improve their life or to improve the understanding of a topic.)
