I have 4 kids and I would NEVER allow them to misbehave in someones house. She should respect your home and teach her children to do the same, she has no call to be mad

I can handle annoying kids. My youngest has a best friend that is very annoying (needy, talk talk talk, clingy etc) but what you describe, no I cannot handle. Spoiled, entitled and violent drive me absolutely batty. I would keep making up those excuses until they get the point. I'm not very confrontational when it comes to my kids friends and their families. I try to ease outta those situations as quickly and calmly as I can. If your son really wants to hang out with this child, I would plan park trips and activities that didn't allow the child at your home or yours there. Invite in a way that includes the parents so if the other child is acting bratty then that's your que to get a headache and cut it short.

I have 4 kids and I won't take them to people's houses that don't have children because I know it's hard for some people... but I do watch mine very closely when I have them out! I did how ever tell my brother son that if he threw one more thing in my living room I was gonna spank his butt (cause his momma wouldn't) he threw a toy and I spanked his butt and now she makes him mind when he's at my house cause she don't want me to make him mind! lol
It's my home and if you won't make them behave then I will!

I let my grand-kids play with a lot of things that others wouldn't.I let them build tents over anything in here. There is nothing more precious than my grand-kids.

Yes, I would tell the children to just behave, this is my house not the zoo.

Yes, me too. But at least you solved the problem, she doesn't bring her kids over anymore.

If she is your friend, why is she still angry at you? I have kids, yes, they behave well but they can also "act out" and if my friend would have told me that, I would have "appreciated it" and not have felt offended. I'm sorry she is angry at you for this !

It can be annoying, yes, but telling her that probably hurt her feelings.
