We have lived in our house for approx. 4 1/2 months and our real estate company just put a for sale sign in the yard out of nowhere. Now they have a lock box on our house and that means strangers in and out showing the house. They also want to cut all our trees and bushes down and want to publish picture of the interior of the house (i.e. all of our stuff!). I hate this house, I hate the neighborhood and now with this I am really miserable. Do you think there is anyway I can get out of my lease without a nasty process? Is there some kind of law relating to this.

P.S. I live in Florida if anyone is familiar with these laws.

Thanks so much for any advice!!

I called my cell service, and there is no way to block her. I changed my number once, she has the new one now. I really don't want to change my number again.

There is no real threat. It's just annoying! She leaves lengthy vm/text messages ,full of choice expletives. So I can't really got to the police. Plus, I live in another state.

Any advice would be helpful.

Okay, i have just bought a used weight set and the owner just used a wire brush to clean the weights but it's still rusty. It's iron and it has orange rust on there. Is there any way i can get the rest of the rust off? Any off the counter products from wal-mart or etc... I've tried home lemon with baking soda but it takes to long and is not as effective. Is there also a way i can polish the weights as well? Please help and thank you in advance. I was thinking about WD-40 but doesn't that leave grease behind and make the weights slippery?

I recently (so I though) purchased a Nissan Sentra. The sales man had me thinking that I had been approved with a set intererst rate that they had matched from another company for financing my car. So I drive off and drove the car for a week.I then get a phone call a couple of days ago from the finance manager that I wasn't approved for that set interest rate and that it would go up 3 percentage points and to find my own financing. Well of course I got mad and had my boyfriend call and tell them that I wanted to return the Nissan and that I would like my Chrysler Sebring back (I had traded it in)They gave all this crap that it was a set contract but they originally had broken the contract because they had raised up the APR. Does anyone know of anything that will help to get out of this contract, this car still isn't in my name and it's not financed and the chrysler is still in my name I never gave them the title and they haven't paid it off yet.I just want to get out of my contract

Are the remaining feminists trapped in a time warp, living in a past of their own making? It's sad to see them so much out of touch with reality. They persistently spout old-hat polemics, pontificating about things they know nothing about except for what they have been inculcated with in women's studies classes or the like.

How much sense does it make for some wet-behind-the-ears 19 year old girl to be pontificating about how "women have been oppressed for thousands of years" (apparently without knowing that men and women both have been oppressed at various times in history)? And some femmies still rant on about "votes for women", apparently unaware that men and women are now able to vote and have been able to do so for nearly a hundred years.

The bottom line is that successful women (be that success in a family context or in the workplace) have MOVED PAST FEMINISM with all that old emotional baggage.

How do you feel about it?

I ask this because some people on here believe that churches should have their tax exempt status removed. Now, the churches make money off of what people donate mostly. The money the people donate was already taxed when the person received their paycheck. If they tax a church for the money they receive then the money is being taxed twice, is it not?

In hamlet's soliloquy at 2.2.567, why does he seem so angry with himself?

What evidence is there that he is torn between actions and words?

What does Hamlet say in that speech about why he's angry at himself? What does he say about words? What action does he say that he should be taking? (A hint -- "kites" in this speech are not children's toys, but birds that feed on carrion.) Who is he talking about when he says "this slave" and "Bloody, bawdy villain!" Remorseless, treacherous, lecherous, kindles villain!"? What does he think he should be doing to that person? How does he feel about himself for not doing it?

im not asking to have all these questions answered but a couple here and there would be wonderful and thank alot!!!!

I am a supervisor. I have not yet seen a person admit they messed up and say they are sorry and go on about their business. They tend to blow up and blame someone else or put it off on me like I am picking on them. What do I say, I busted you and you knew better? What would you do to make it go smoother?

I am faced with a dilemma. I need a knee replacement and have a tentative date of March 2008. My company is closing in January 2008 and I will go out and get another job after the surgery. The insurance company has been excellent in sending me a replacement check every week.
Will the bank consider the weekly checks as income when we go to apply for a home loan?
