The question is is this a temporary solution, that in the end you will end up losing the land also. Take a look at your budget first, see if there are things you can reduce to make the payment, or is the payment too much to begin with?

It's possible, depending on the land & it's value providing the mortgaged property is not on than same land. Check with your Banker.

Go to the bank and ask them - the lending rules are changing and there are alot of factors they will take into consideration
