I am hoping to start some type of business next year. Most of my jobs have been entertainment related, although I'm open to doing something new yet still creative. I don't want to work as a retail clerk or in an office. Any suggestions would be appreciated- thanks.

I need some examples of products/services that companies failed to market internationally because of cultural or language barriers.

Example: Chevy Nova translated as "no go" in Spanish.

Please provide valid references. Thanks!

-Must be compatible with Windows Vista
-Must be compatible with Xbox Live
-Must have a good stable connection with my DSL modem

Being agnostic myself I could never really understand how atheists came to terms with the afterlife and death in general. But after reading this beautifully written article I'm starting to make sense of it all. I thought his writing brought tremendous insight to the beliefs of atheists. But I understand that it would be a tremendous generalization to say that this one man's thoughts are shared with every other atheist.

Atheists, would it be a stretch to say that most atheists feel the same? And theists whats your reaction to his response to such a crisis? In accordance with your beliefs, does his reaction appear sensible? or simply cold hearted?

Does anyone know the implications of the tax break if you have two jobs. One job would qualify as self employed lets say I made 100,000 on the self employed job and 90,000 for the second job. If I use the vehicle to travel to my second job does this reduce my tax credit? Also I wanted to buy the Range Rover Sport, they claim I can get a tax break of 35,600 dollars in the first year. Does this mean my taxable income for my self employment is reduced to 64,400? I plan on buying the suv in early 2008.

I've been married for 5 months to my HS sweetheart who I've been with for over 6 years. We don't do much when he gets home from work (I'm currently looking for work so I'm at home all day). I find myself really bored cause we just watch tv, play on the computer, or occasionally play a board game. I don't mind doing these things so much but after a while I want to try something else and he also wants the tv off not longer after watching and just likes the silence (I dont). I'd like to go out but we don't have TOO much $ and don't know what to do. We don't drink, we don't like to dance, and we're not sporty types of people...neither of us can come up with anything to do and we're just getting frustrated with each other. Also new in town, dont know anyone.Does anyone have any suggestions for how to make this marriage more interesting. I don't even find myself that interested in being with him physically lately since I find myself bored when we're together the rest of the time..please help

Imagine this, it is afternoon on the day of Ashura. Imam al-Hussain (AS) is standing on the blood-drenched soil of Karbala in the heat of the scorching sun waiting to meet his beloved. His head is wounded and blood is streaming slowly down his holy face soaking his blessed beard. He looks around, searching for members of his family and his companions, only to find them brutally slaughtered and slain like sacrificial lambs, lying there on the ground soaked in blood. He hears the innocent crying and wailing of the children and the women. Tears flow down his holy face. He takes a piece of cloth to wipe the blood from his face, whereupon an archer from the army of Yazid (may Allah’s curse be upon him) shoots a triple-headed arrow, which lodges into Imam al-Hussain’s (AS) heart.

He pulls out the arrow causing blood to gush out. The Holy Imam is thirsty, he cries: “O God, I am thirsty”, in the meantime another man approaches and shoots an arrow which thrusts into Imam al-Hussain’s (AS) throat quenching his thirst. Hilal bin Nafi’ was reported as saying: “By God I never saw a person getting killed with his own blood all over his body in a better state than al-Hussain. I was so overwhelmed by the radiance of his face that I refrained from contemplating killing him”. Even when the accursed Shimr approached Imam al-Hussain (AS) to severe his blessed head, he said: “When I approached Hussain ibn Ali and my eyes fell on him, the light of his face so gripped me that I forgot my intention to kill him”. It is reported that when Imam al-Hussain was killed, the sky rained down blood. It has been recorded that Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (AS) has said:

“…For no one the heavens wept for forty days save Yahya and Hussain…”

Show me such a spectacle of human greatness in an event other than Karbala and I will commemorate its memory instead of Karbala! How can someone hear all this and not cry and mourn, even those who are not Muslims shed tears when they hear this tragedy. Even the heavens wept for Imam al-Hussain (AS). Let me ask you a question, if a Muslim cries over the passing away of their own relatives, then how can they not cry over the grandson of the Messenger of Allah (SAW)?

The Tragedy of Karbala was no ordinary tragedy and Imam Husayn was no ordinary revolutionary for he was the grandson of the holy Prophet of Islam, Muhammad. For oppressed communities worldwide regardless of religion, gender or race, the tragedy of Karbala forms a model, a benchmark. Karbala signifies a lesson that human beings should never submit to tyranny, oppression and falsehood. Silence in the face of transgression is synonymous to the acceptance of injustice.

Husayn's heroism set a firm standard against despotism forever. It sent a message to all corners of the world that although he was finally massacred in battle; he and his most loyal companions were victorious. It was in the name of Husayn that the oppressive government he fought was toppled some 70 years following his death, and the true Islamic teachings of peace, justice and submission to God exists today.

The tragedy of Karbala is a reminder not only for Muslims, but for mankind to rise up to seek positive reform in the face of resignation.

Thomas Carlyle, a 19th century Scottish historian said, "The best lesson which we get from the tragedy of Karbala is that Husayn and his companions were the rigid believers of God. They illustrated that numerical superiority does not count when it comes to truth and falsehood. The victory of Husayn despite his minority marvels me!"

Mahatma Gandhi - Said: “I learned from Hussain how to be wronged and be a winner.”

Sometimes I sit on a green top
Contemplating you'r existance in my life
Seems like I'm battling a lost cause
Constantly gazing into the galaxy
Full of fear, and the realization that nothing's real
Worthless doesn't even begin to describe me without you
Resorting to various escapes of reality
Always wondering if I'm good enough
To be just a star, in you'r universe.
