1. Write the pH of the following solutions:
a. [HNO3=1.0 x 10 -3M
b. [H3O+]=2.5 x 10 -4M
c. 1.0 x 10 -2M KOH

2. Hydrocyanic acid, HCN, reacts with water to form a solution containing CN- and hydronium ion. Write the chemical equation to show the reaction of hydrocyanic acid with water. List the formula of the conjugate base of HCN; List the chemical formula of each acid in the equation. Then write the Ka expression for this reaction.

3. The value of the acid ionization constant, Ka, for HCN is 4.4 x 10 -10. What is the concentration of H3O+ in a 1.65M solution of hydrocyanic acid? Show set-up.

4. What is the pH of the 1.65M HCN solution?

why are insecure girls extremely flirty. from my experience with women, i've noticed that extremely and very flirty girls are insecure. why is this? i mean, i think it's great and all to flirt, but to flirt constantly everytime you go out and everywhere you are ... that's just a bit extreme. normally a woman takes awhile to get ready, but i've noticed that these types of girls take longer than usual just to get ready. overall, i've noticed they're very insecure, so my question is why are insecure girls extremely flirty?

Can anyone point me in the direction to find a law which states that a manufacturer will treat it's dealer network with similar pricing? I am concerned that I work with a manufacturer that is offering my competition better pricing and I want to know if there is a law which prohibits this.

If the Wings end up winning the division again this year, all the Wing-bashers can't use their "central division sucks" excuse this year. That's to say the Wings can win it. Alright here's whats happening, I sent about 10 resumes out on Monday and got a response for two jobs by Wednesday (today) and one of them, i have an interview for tomorrow. The thing is, the work hours really aren't what i am looking for, but i am desperate for a job in the finance industry and this jobs gives me exposure. The thing is, this job starts on Monday and over the phone, it sounded like they were kind of desperate to get me to start work asap. . I sent out 10 resumes and have only got back two responses so far (2days) so i do expect more in the coming week or so. I don't want to start and then have to leave the job if i find something better for me. Since this job isn't my first choice, i want to know what kind of options i have.

My girlfriend told me she had sex with another guy, but told me two weeks later that she lied just to see how I would react. She did kiss him though, and does not deny it. I think they even dry hump. Anyways, she stopped seeing this guy. She is now my ex, and we still talk. Today we had sex, and after she told me to find a new girlfriend. She says she hates guys. I really love her. What do I do? Am I sprung? I am a good looking, charming, and sweet guy and my ex is a mean and cruel person but I like her. It's complicated. I have low confidence, it's hard for me to approach a girl.
