At 12:00 noon, Twin A with clock stays at rest while Twin B with telescope jumps to 4/5ths speed of light. Twin B, using telescope, observes Twin A's clock going more slowly because of relativistic doppler. After some time, Twin B suddenly reverses course and heads home at 4/5ths speed of light. Still using the telescope, Twin B observes Twin A's clock going faster, again because of relativistic doppler. At 1:00 pm, he notices that Twin A's clock now also shows 1:00 pm. When Twin B arrives back home with Twin A, how much older is Twin A than Twin B?

Bonus question: Why does Twin A, using telescope, never sees Twin B's clock showing the same time as Twin A's clock?

Hi,

I'm not an alocoholic because I don't depend on alcohol but I do love the taste of wine, especially oaked chardonnay or berry like red wine.

If I drink wine, I will drink a whole bottle in the evening. Sometimes, if my social life is fulll etc I could do this a few nights in a row.

Do you think a bottle in one evening is too much?

Some weeks ago there were people talking about 60 TDs.

He has 5 games left and 10 TD in 5 games is realistic. But all of them are in bad weather (3 at home, 1 at Bal and 1 at NY) and I don't see him playing more than 1 drive in the last one.

He said he does not care about the record neither.

I know that Rock music gets trashed sometimes in the Rap section, but there is a lot of trash-talk here when it comes to Rap and Hip-Hop...I know I see it quite a bit. But there are people here who actually do appreciate it...at least a few of us, anyway?

I am not as well-versed as I should be in all things Hip-Hop, but I do appreciate what it brings to the table. And I was listening to the Ices (that's T and Cube), De La Soul, Cypress Hill, A Tribe Called Quest, etc. right along with the Rock and Pop I grew up with. It's another little part of my musical upbringing.

So even if you aren't a fan, can you appreciate its contributions to music? And if you are a fan, who are some of your favorites?

I am doing horrible in college and i am in a upper freshmen class right now. My first year I had a overall of 2.1 gpa and this semester i think I might be doign really bad probly like 1.9 or something. Is it possible to raise my gpa up higher if I do good in the spring semester and get alike a 3.5 or higher and then take summer classes to help with that? at the end of last year My ex pushed me out of a window on the forth floor so I am lucky to be alive. As a result of this I have the worst memory ever. Hi, I got my nose pierced at the end of August and it was healing just fine. Then about 2 months ago I got that 'bump' that everyone talks about, so I was taking really good care of it by cleaning like crazy. Then it got infected.. like I mean it was pussing! So I kept cleaning it and I have a 14kt gold stud in there so it can't be bothered by the jewelry. So I went to the doctors and I got some anti-biotics to help fight the infection, and it worked. The infection went away, along with the 'bump'. But not even a few days after it was all gone, the damn 'bump' came back and now it's infected again! I don't know what to do, I suppose I could take it out but I just worked so hard to keep it and I really like having it. If anyone knows what I should do please help! Thanks...

I have four 64 oz - one filled with air, one with soil, one with small pebbles, and the last with warter. Each have a plug and a thermometer. The each will sit in direct sunlight and after sun down I will record their temps. Each hour (for the next two hours)after that I will record their temps.

I was under the impression that a person had to be missing for 5 or 7 years BEFORE they could be declared 'dead'. I understand the circumstances, but shouldn't the law be the same for everyone? Nothing has been found as far as I know, so who is to say, that he didn't disappear for some unknown reason? People do disappear everyday for their own reasons.

I am by no means saying the man is alive or hiding. I personally believe that he is dead. I just want to know how/why he could be declared dead when other's have to wait the time out...
