YES YOU CAN DO SOMETHING, IF YOU BOUGHT THE PUPPY ON LINE, AND YOU DID NOT GET YOUR PUPPY, THAT IS FRAUD, CONTACT YOUR BANK OR CREDIT CARD COMPANY, THIS IS BECOMING A COMMON FRAUD FOR PURCHASING DOGS ON LINE.....YOU CAN FILE A DISPUTE FOR NOT REC, THE PUPPY (PRODUCT) DENY THE CHARGE, YOUR BANK WILL DISPUTE IT AND YOU CAN GET YOUR MONEY BACK......

ALSO, IF YOU KNOW WHICH INTERNET SERVICE THE PERSON USED, YOU CAN REPORT THIS TO THEM, AND THE WEBSITE CAN BE CLOSED DOWN.....YOU CAN ALSO CONTACT YOUR LOCAL DA'S OFFICE AND FILE CHARGES FOR FRAUD.....THE DA'S OFFICE CAN TRACK FROM YOUR BANK TO THEIR BANK WHERE THEY DREW YOUR FUNDS OUT FROM.....YOU CAN GET YOUR MONEY BACK AND THE SATISFACTION OF STOPPING THIS PERSON IN THE FUTURE.....I AM A PARALLEGAL, TRUST ME THIS CAN BE RESOLVED...WILL TAKE ALITTLE LEG WORK ON YOUR PART,,,,BUT IS WELL WORTH IT....

Scams with puppies are common online, you can try to report it to the police, if you happen to have the address where you sent the payment, but in most cases, like the person who posted above, never buy online, there's always a chance that the puppy in the picture that you are looking at is not even for sale, they just put up a cute picture and tell you that's the dog you are getting, and the puppy never arrives, or you get a totally different puppy that dies soon after arrival. You may not be able to do much more than learn a lesson from it, as hard as it is to swallow. I breed and raise Welsh Corgis and I don't do business online other than you let people know we have a litter but I expect them to come to my house and meet me, and meet their potential puppy. It's responsible breeding and sale.

This is why I always recommend that online purchases be done using a credit card. If so you have an avenue to recover costs, if you gave a check or a money order then you might be out of the money. If so, I would report the scam to the authorities in the proper area and do your best to spread the word about how you were taken including all details.

So did you get the puppy? Why would you send them more $$ especially if you didn't get what you paid for. If this was a breeder and there was a contract then maybe you could go to small claims court but that would cost more than you've lost. Otherwise there isn't much that can be done.

You can try to file a fraud charge against the seller but with no paper proof of payment or contract it's your word against theirs and the odds are your not going to get your 300 back....this is why you do not send people money for anything, meet face to face to buy a dog or anything for that matter, exchange money for purchase when you pick it up...unfortunately you learned the hard way.

Did you buy it online? Unfortunately, this is a common scam. There is nothing you can really do to get the money back, so learn a lesson and never buy a puppy again unless you see it first.

How can you be scammed into buying a puppy? If you paid $300 for it, you must have wanted it, or was it an impulse thing? More information please!!!

You have to give more information than that.. Did you get a puppy you weren't happy with? You didn't get what you paid for? You didn't get a puppy at all? You didn't get your papers?? What??
