There were 11 people hanging onto a rope suspended from a helicopter. Ten men and one woman. The rope was starting to fray from the weight and so they all agreed that one person should let go because if they didn't, the rope would break and everyone would die. No one could decide who should go, so finally the woman gave a really touching speech, saying that she would give up her life to save theirs because women were used to giving up things for their husbands and children, sacrificing themselves for their men and after all, men were the superior sex and must be saved.

When she finished speaking all the men clapped.

You can NOT hold the school responsible or chaparone responsible for your student on the field trip.

I am disheartened by some responses. There were a couple that seemed genuinely understanding that my post was not meant to be offensive or rude.

It has been something I have always wondered. I am always told Islam is a religion of peace; yet I would love to see some "moderate" muslims standing up and saying Hey, this isnt right; please, dont hate us for what "they" do. Or something to that effect.

Do alot of others feel that way too? There seems to be this confusion (at least in my head) not knowing if it truly is a religion of peace or not. I didnt feel many responses actually scoffed at Sharia law and this is what concerned me. Do moderate Muslims believe that Sharia law is a correct interpretion for punishment in the Koran? I would love to hear from you guys!

Every holiday I leave in tears & so angry, asking myself where did I go wrong? I raised 3 girls each one different as night & day. One of them (30 yrs old) always w/o fail says something hurtful & insulting to me, naturally in front of everyone of course in hopes of getting a laugh. This Thanksgiving her zinger not only hurt me but an innocent by-stander as well and was totally uncalled for! Apparently that wasn't enough so she started in on her younger sister! When I called her on it the next day (I didn't want to upset everyone by getting into it with her then) she said she did nothing out of line to either of us! Yet everyone asks me why I let her get by with that stuff she's just to old to take out back to the wood shed and even when she wasn't it would have done no good. I now refuse to go to Christmas because of her, it should be me Christmas is about the children and my grandchildren shouldn't miss out. My fear is if I'm not there she'll do it to someone else. What do I do?

I don't understand when you find a nice girl that is attractive, funny, smart and just wows you all around and she always ends up dating one of your friends or sleeping with someone else before she tells you anything is going on. They always flirt with you and lead you on like they want more but just end up with some other guy. Why not tell me they are into someone else so I can not expect more? I understand if someone they liked more came along and they wanted to be with them. I just want to stop getting my feeling hurt and wasting time.

i broke up with my boyfriend of 5 years a few weeks ago. the thing is we broke up because we had alot of stupid arguments and little fights. i am going to see him this weekend to speak to him and really want to get back with him as i really love him so much and want be with him, but he just thinks we only will argue and fight. how can i change his mind that i do not want that never again and want to make a fresh start and to know how serious i am with him and we could get relationship counseling and advice. please help. thanxs

The woman on here who is constantly criticizing women for their choice to formula feed. The woman with the accounts;
Jorvice, Kanter, Klover, (and now using Dolly) and all the other ones she has ..
(her main account is Illyana's Mommy)
Is there any way to prevent her from answering questions on here? Because quite frankly, I am SICK of asking a question and getting a response from her telling me how ugly my daughter is! It has become harassment!
Is there any way to get rid of this wicked woman all together?
(I've blocked EVERY account she has ever used to answer my questions, but she's creating new accounts on a daily basis, and the things she says is absolutely horrible!)
Can someone please tell me how to block her ISP or something? so that ALL of her accounts can be blocked at one time?
(oddly, this woman is harassing me, and I breastfeed!)
