Well this is a complete 180 out fromJD's answer, but as a knife collector with samples from just about every country, I don't own a single Frost Cutlery knife, and I have no plans on it. The Frost knives I have seen have been a low quality steel and pretty bad workmanship. The ones they have that are made in Pakistan are the worst quality I have ever seen, followed closely by their made in China knives.
I'm not saying knives made in pakistan or China are crap, on the contrary, what I am saying is the Frost knives that are made in Pakistan and China aren't worth buying. From my experience Frost makes knives for people who don't know knives. Ever watched the home shopping channel on late night TV? You will see Frost Cutlery knives being sold for a dollar each, there's a good reason for that, that's about all they're really worth.

Frost Cutlery brand knives are generally low quality imports that will not give you good service. A much better "cheap" knife would be from Coast Cutlery. They tend to have decent steel in the blades. A better inexpensive alternative would also be Buck brand knives.

Frost Cutlery is a multi-line distributor with an excellent reputation for selling quality knives from several different manufacturers. They are price competitive, sell high quality products and they stand behind what they sell. I have bought several hunting knives from them (Both fixed blade gut hook and fixed blade drop point knives) in the past with no complaints or problems what-so-ever.I would give them a 10!
*Boker..I guess I should have been more specific..I have only had dealings with Frost's higher end knives like "Boker", Case and Victorinox......I don't buy any knives online or on Home Shopping Network let alone cheap imports from Pakistan or China..............lol

From what I can find about Frost Cutlery, they are a knives importer.
The quality of their blades will be difficult to know without knowing who they are getting them from.
I would highly recommend keeping with hunting blades that are known for their reliability. Skinning a deer out is no time to find out you can't keep an edge on your knife, or that it flexes and breaks easily.

Wonderful question well it's simple realy the make some of the worlds best aks and skss becase the china military makes them and there highly traind and very well payed unlike a cumpany in china that's all about there profit margen. The military gets sallry so If a gun gives there inspecter a bad felling he can jest trash it and he always makes the same pay with out a Bose scraming for him to in crease purduction. So there guns are some of the the worlds best better then enen some amrican companys that's the military difrence.

Not a big fan of Frost. Elk Ridge make a decent fixed blade. Kabar is also good. MTech USA seems to be decent, and a little lower priced.

Smith&Wesson SWAT, Cold Steel, and SOG are what I stick with. Gerber is good too. I would stay away from Frost as well.
It looks like recycled beer cans....lol

Yes, you are right they are well made knives and they are reasonably priced too. My friend bought one from this site http://www.ebladestore.com/id/shearning. Just check them out if they have what you are looking for.
