Maybe she doesn't get WHY you need to wear thongs. Underwear is underwear and I don't get what's so special about wearing thongs.
Plus if you still have to ask your mom whether you can wear them or not, you're NOT old enough to wear thongs. TRUST ME. If you're under 16 or whatever, boys will think you're slutty.
Besides if no one besides you is gonna see them, what's the big deal??

Well first off, how old are you exactly? Maybe you are too young to be wearing a thong. Do you really think most kids under 15 years old need a thong in the first place?

If you really believe that you're old enough, get opinions from others. Ask friends who wear thongs how it feels, i've heard that it feels like a constant wedgie.

If you still want one, try showing your mom that you really are mature enough. Tell her why you want this so much. Do you want it to be cool or are you really tired of all those panty lines, the reason for a thong.

If the answer was because you think it's cool, just ask your mom to redo your underwear drawer, go to places like Victoria's Secret, they have the cutest underwear!

If you're still passionate about getting a thong, ask your mom to buy just one for you as a trial run. Try it out for a week during a break and see if you can handle it well enough. It might convince your mom that you're truly ready for a thong.

Does your mother associate thongs with sex? There are plenty of us out here not getting any, who wear thongs regularly (a sad statement, I know, but it's the truth!).

Thongs are simply another cut of underwear. As long as they stay under your clothes, then it should be no different than any other pair of panties. Let her know that it's a comfort issue, and be open to the plain cotton version...my guess is she'll come around if you use logic.

I dont know how old you are, but 14+ is likely for her to let you.

If she still says no, all you have to do is go to the mall, with whoever, & then find a really cute thong & run up to it & be like "omgsh this is the cutest thing everr!!!" & then tell your mom your not going to wear it but you just really want it because the style is really cute.

just go out nd buy them!! nd hide them under your mastress! lol! im 13 and i wear thongs so you dont get vpls (visible panty lines)!!! but im defo not a slut! and i dont let guys "accidently " see them either to think im "easy" or anything! i remember getting my first thong like 2 years ago at aerie and it was soo cute!! so i suggest u go there!! :) xxx
