At 12:00 noon, Twin A with clock stays at rest while Twin B with telescope jumps to √(4/5) speed of light. Twin B, using telescope, observes Twin A's clock going more slowly because of relativistic doppler. After some time, Twin B suddenly reverses course and heads home at √(4/5) speed of light. Still using the telescope, Twin B observes Twin A's clock going faster, again because of relativistic doppler. At 1:00 pm, he notices that Twin A's clock now also shows 1:00 pm. When Twin B arrives back home with Twin A, how much older is Twin A than Twin B?

Bonus question: Why does Twin A, using telescope, NEVER sees Twin B's clock showing the same time as Twin A's clock?

so i really like this guy and i think he likes me, but i'm not sure. we watch videos together pretty regularly and when we do we sit really close and share a blanket but then after the movie is over he seems to leave as soon as possible. we also go out for dinner sometimes, but nothing ever seems to progress. so does he even like me? and if so, how can i turn this into a relationship? also, we're both 20 if that makes a difference.

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

1. Suppose that 'a' and 'b' are positive constants.. Consider the function: f(x)=e^[-(x-a)^2/2b]
a.) determine the absolute max of this function and the corresponding x-value.
b.) determine the max and min. rates of change of this function and hte corresponding x-values.
c.) give a verbal description of the graph of htis function that includes the significant features.


This has something to do with L'Hopitals Rule, derivatives, increasing and decreasing tests, and inflection points.
But how do I do any of that without any numbers?!?!?!

I go to church, I believe in God, but I don't listen to "christian" music. I listen to punk/rock/screamo/emo stuff. At my church, that's grounds for going to hell. I'm trying to tell my youth leader that I think I can listen to what ever music I want to and still be a christian. They even took so far as to burning cd's!
Idk about you but I think that's exbiting "Cult" like behavior..

what are your veiws on this:

in the 1980,s i had top quality insulllation blown into my
townhouse attic. no cost savings, the ac at that time was
one half ton too small, now i have new right sized unit, some
people tell me townhouses are connected by firewalls and
and unless my next door neighbor has insullation blown in at
same time it won,t do any good. i would like some advice,
i would hate to spend the money if insullation would not

I got this puzzle for my Psych class to do where you have to touch everyborder without it going over it twice in a continuous line.

Heres a picture of what it the puzzle is and the other picture is what i got soo far, i still didn't get to touch the top right line. Its driving crazy!

Basically the continuous line can cross over itself just as long as its not going over the border more than once.

Ok, red rash on his belly, flaky, scabby skin, hair loss, horrible fleas. I used baby oil on his dry skin (vet recommended). dawn on fleas (also vet recommended). Also, I use advantage, but they still aren't going away, and I don't bathe him a lot. I already know that will dry out his skin more. He already has a vet appointment, but if anyone knows what could be wrong with him let me know. thanx
