I just read an Awesome book that touches upon this very subject. It was called Evolving God by Barbara King. Great stuff!

Well, that and the shape of our jawbones and skulls, pelvic shape and placement, shoulder/collarbone form, arm length, and the ability to walk completely upright...

Imagination isn't the only thing that separates us from whatever hominids that have been found...and imagination isn't the reason that people have religious beliefs. It goes way deeper than that.

I can understand why Paganism came to be, this may sound funny me being a Christian. If you will notice all the great religions have one thing in common, their God is not seen. Most have a front man which is holy. The Indian culture in America has the Great Spirit but no one front man. They needed something explain nature but soon outgrew them.

God put the knowlege of himself in your heart, before you were born. The proof of Him is every where, so on judgment day, you will have no excuse. What a bummer for you.
