Can someone get infected these types of disease if he/she eats foods (from restaurants or cafes) like salad, fresh fruits or fruit juices or sweet dishes where heat is not involved. Recently I got an e-mail saying that a boy got infected with AIDS after eating pipeapple which he bought on his way home from a vendor (the vendor is an AID patient and he had a cut on his finger while cutting the pineapple and his blood spread into the fruit)

I am going next January to Korea and I am curious as to what the s. korean people think of us american soldiers. It would be useful to know what to expect from them. Plus any tips in terms of culture, people, habbits and warnings about them would be great.

I have read about the country already but I have found from previous experiences in other countries that you cant trust most of what you read on the internet cause it's either sugar coated or exagerated to put across a point of view. So previous experiences on the area are of more value to me.

A man left for work one Friday afternoon. But, being payday, instead of going home, he stayed out the entire weekend partying with the boys and spending his entire paycheck.

When he finally appeared at home, Sunday night, he was confronted by a very angry wife and was barraged for nearly two hours with a tirade befitting his actions. Finally his wife stopped the nagging and simply said to him. "How would you like it if you didn't see me for two or three days?"

To which he replied. "That would be fine with me."

Monday went by and he didn't see his wife. Tuesday and Wednesday came and went with the same results.

Come Thursday, the swelling went down just enough where he could see her a little out of the corner of his left eye.

I'm working on a project for Christmas that requires the use of a few power tools - namely, a table saw and drill with some large bits. I don't own any of these tools. I don't need them for very long, only a few minutes, so I don't want to rent them for a full day or anything if I don't have to.

Do places exist where you can go in, bring your lumber (or whatever), and use the tools for a fee? Will places like Lowes or Home Depot do this for you if you purchase raw materials from them?

I saw a question about burqa, and began to think about women in India. My parents come from India, and even amongst some of my family members, women are not treated equally at par with men.

In India I am beginning to see a shift in attitude, where many are now standing up, but these women are in the minority and are those who are making money. So is jobs the answers to bring equality, is education the answer, or I have even found that western culture, such as hollywood movies impacting Indian women.

I am not a feminist, but do believe in equally opportunity to succeed and I would like to see women are the world given an equal opportunity to suceed.
