Apart from being an a**hole, how could a DNA paternity test show if the child is his or his son's?

Brkshandilya: rest easy, I already know the correct answer (I study medicine) and it's not based on a true story!

Object: could only happen in a soap opera eh? If only that was true. Better end that strike or how will the soap stars screw themselves up?!

Bythe way: Then I suppose Pop would be off the hook and the neighbour (and the girl) would have some explaining to do.

The son has half of his DNA from his mother. They would be quite different.

There is differentiation in the DNA of a father and his son. If a man's identical twin impregnated his wife, though, then they'd be in trouble.

How could it? Because the man and his son don't have exact DNA, that's why. (Is this a trick question? This seems obvious, to me.)

What if the guy's IDENTICAL TWIN BROTHER impregnated his wife? What THEN?

There is some DNA shared between father and son but they are still unique. If DNA testing can distinguish between brothers (not identical twins) then it certainly can distinguish between father and son!

It is said that no two DNA patterns are the same, even if the difference is minute. Who says that the man has to be the Aspen hole in this matter. The girl didn't exactly say no did she?
A very important ? to ask even if the situation is hypothetical.

As I understand it, everyone's DNA is individual, hence regarding your scenario, it matters not the relationship which exists.
