This is a really difficult question you just have to remember that the past is in the past and you have to accept that what ever happend back then you cannot change noone can ever (completley) forget there past, sometimes they will have tiny reminders of things that have happend back then but you have to understand that things are different now things back then may have happend that you could or couldnt control but you just have to be strong enough to take control of whats going on now and slowly move on I can definatley understand where your coming from and coping with these kinds of things can be very difficult but we just have to remember that were not the only people out there that feel this way there is plenty more of us that are going through this and just as alot of them keep strong we have to keep strong to

It's very hard to let go of somethings.Depending on what's haunting you. The best thing that you can do is stay away from things that remind you of the past such as music, places and people. If it's the ghost of someone that's haunting you then he/she is haunting you for a reason. Maybe he/she is the one for you.

Simple phrase-
We live and learn.
The show goes on. The world keeps on going. Think about the mistakes from the past and think about this before making the same mistake again. Don't worry. Everyone makes mistakes. Hang in there. Best of luck.

You can't run from your past. You need to understand that we all make mistakes. But when we come to the issue of the mistake we made, there are those of us who learn from it, and those who don't. Those who learn from there past can become better, stronger, smarter people. Those who choose not to learn from there past are doomed to fail. These are typacially the people who wish for chances to go back in time and right a wrong. As opposed to working for a better future.

It all depends on what is haunting you... Is it a lie yo told or something you covered up??? If it is that then the only way to move past it is to reveal it.
If it is a loved one haunting you then welcome them and they will rest.

It would help if you could make piece with the past, forgive and try to move on, but i just learned to live with it and cope as time makes things a little easier

tell yourself that anything negative is a distraction, and keep telling yourself this until you eventually get the picture...it's something you'll have to put your mind to.
say a quick prayer every time you feel bothered.
it takes those positive moments and thoughts to override the haunting ones.
