Only a complete buffoon would compare the current war in Iraq with a world war. America lost more in on day of Iwo Jima than we have in the entire Gulf Conflict. That does not take away from the sacrifices of the brave people there, it just blows the idiotic idea that this is a world war out of the water.

That is an over generalization. Most of us feel helpless to stop it. Our government is so devoid of thought for it's people and their needs that many of us feel apathetic. Because of this many do not vote. The presidency is all about who has the most money to even be in the running. The average person that is interested in change can not even run for president unless they have lots of money. There are great corporations that have the running mates in their pocket even before they become president plying them with money for their special interests. Basically bribing them for immunity from the real change that needs to happen in this country. Our country is very corrupt and there is nothing we Americans can do about it. Our government picks on smaller weaker countries for it's own profit. We need a real president. Not some rich guy that pays more for his hair cut than a single mom can make in a month to house and feed her babies.
