Everyone has their own beliefs, but why do people feel the need to convince other people to change their beliefs? Why do religious people always feel the need to be right? Don't you just wish there were less religious nuts in the world, and instead people would start thinking for themselves about the ideas of the world? Why does religion have to take up so much time in a religious person's day? Ok, you believe in God, we get it.. now do something else with your life.

its been 11 years since my parents split, still they hate each others guts, my mum blames EVERYTHING on my dad since the split, he was unfaithful to her but stuff since then he cant really be held responsible for! why cant she move on she has a new partner as does he!

i have a host registered with dyndns.com for free, i am trying to host a small site from my computer at home. how to i edit the sites contents, or even look at it, i go to it and get a sex page (generic)?? please help me to add stuff to the site! unluss there is a easier, free way to host a site.

i got that, the whole point was that i host the site from my house, but how do i link my index.htm or w/e to the host on dydns. com, um, i guess please tell me how to use the hostname, how can i use the host service that the site provides....just tell me how to get my site online with dyndns.com , thank you

I spent the holiday weekend with a teen that I feel is arrogant & rude. Am I right or wrong? Here is the gist of what happened.
During most conversations this kid belittled at least one person, roller her eyes when someone wanted to go to a store that was beneath her, constantly interrupting people during conversations to insert how she and “her people” buy more expensive items or have a better football team, or how a this kid she knows drives this $100K car to school.
She had the audacity to ask how much I earn, a questions I would never dream of asking people I hardly know.
She also basically state (in not so many words) that she is better than us because she earns $10 an hour babysitting & can spend 300$ on a designer bag – keep in mind she is only 16 years old.

Am I crazy for thinking this kid is spoiled & ignorant? Or are kids these days raised to be this way or do their parents just not teach them the value of a dollar & manners on what is polite to ask/say?

My husband is a Corporal in the National Gaurd upon returning back from his training in july he came home to find he no longer had a job. he is being deployed in jan so he had four different training dates from august to dec, all at least three weeks in length. so This made finding a job next to impossible. Finally a company hired him and he worked for about a month before being layed off due to plant shut down. the money he has made on his training has been just enough to keep us afloat. we have three daughters which we have kept in the dark on this situation, but i dont know what we are going to do for christmas. he has one more session of training before he leaves and that wont cover our bills let alone buy gifts for our girls. I hate to ask anyone for help but at this point i dont think we have a choice. my girls are losing their daddy for a year and a half and i hate to make things worse for them at christmas. so any help would be appreciated I just need information. THANK YOU

Ok I heard that its best to take the test when you wake up in the morning, but I don't go to sleep until 6am. So should I take it when I wake up around 4pm? Is it the first time you pee or does it really have to be in the morning? Sorry if this question is stupid but Id really like to know lol.

I was riding in a jeepney and then there's Purple Tactics (PT-crush ng bayan) right beside me and we were kinda sweet...holding hands, my head resting on his shoulder and we were laughing AND really having a nice time with the other passengers - all YAPpers!!! If you are a vegetarian or vegan for ethical reasons, is it ethical to sell 3000 bales of hay to those who feed it to cattle so they can kill them later for their meat?

Is it ethical to gain huge profit$ at the expense of an animal's life when you can raise some other crop that will NOT support the killing of animals?

When the person was asked to disprove what everybody read about selling 3000 bales of hay to animal killers, he REFUSED to post the links to the RESOLVED question. Instead he "copied" what he said, but we couldn't read it for ourselves via the link to the RESOLVED question.

Why would an innocent person try to hide something that would prove him innocent? Why would someone who is so judgmental of others do things to promote the killing of animals?

How do vegans and vegetarians that are true to their ethical convictions respond to a moral fraud?

This is not an attack on atheism, it's an attack on people who subscrive to the belief that religion is violent and all of its followers are war-mongering. Well even those who lack religion can be just as savage, perhaps the conclusion that should be drawn is that it's human nature and not religion or a lack of it. What about the People's Republic of China? Perhaps some people should consider these two examples next time they make sweeping generalizations about the violence that religion causes. Millions have died last century in fight between capitalism and communism, so why should that be any less horrific?

If your religion is the right one, shouldn't it be painfully obvious. Don't you think 'god' would make sure everyone knew it? I'm sure that would be easy for your god to do.

On a related note, why would a god need to be worshiped anyway? Does that not sound a little egotistical and childish to you? Believe and worship or suffer eternally? Do you not see anything wrong with this picture?
