No, as a nihilist you do not care about lung disease and such. I am not saying that is wise, but in your position there is no need to care. What you believe or don't believe does not change the facts. Maybe you should consider becoming a "factologist".

Nihilism is often more of a charge leveled against a particular idea, movement, or group, than it is an actual philosophical position to which one overtly subscribes....

So would seem that nilhilism is actually more or less a view and not an outright belief system. So unless in reaction too others care about lung disease and such, yes.....
