Everyone has their own beliefs, but why do people feel the need to convince other people to change their beliefs? Why do religious people always feel the need to be right? Don't you just wish there were less religious nuts in the world, and instead people would start thinking for themselves about the ideas of the world? Why does religion have to take up so much time in a religious person's day? Ok, you believe in God, we get it.. now do something else with your life.

Are you crazy? The biggest sinners are in Church, I don't want them around me with their perverted ways. Haven't you figured it out, the bible keeps bad people in and good people out. We know there is no God, but the God we make, but don't tell them that. It's like letting all the psychos out of the mental asylum.

I wish there were many less people who believed in troublesome religions that have tried to spread by fire and sword. Christianity and Islam are the worst offenders for that. Buddhism has never had a holy war. (What an oxymoron!) I study martial arts at a Soto Zen Buddhist temple, and I have attended some services there. I asked a priest if he minded if I also attended a Christian church. He said he did not mind at all. At a Christian church, the preacher had everyone pray to remove "the Devil of Buddhism" from me. I see who the real devil is...if any did exist.

Nah, I just wish the religious nuts weren't as loud. The religious "nut" you speak of problably represents a small fraction of those who believe. However, this small fraction's actions are remembered by many.

I wish less peple in the world were religious zealots, yes.

If you haven't already, you may enjoy the books "End of Faith" and "Letter to a Christian Nation" by Sam Harris. They both discuss this subject.

Religious people do not make up a large percentage.

They have passion behind their beliefs, therefore in their mind they are saving you,

Do not think this is not motivated by greed,
they get a jewel for every soul they save, wouldn't you want to be the one in your heavenly block with the biggest crown of jewels?
