I went to see some local shelter dogs and I made prok and rice for them. I was wondering if it's good for them. Many of them are emmaciated and can't digest the dry biscuits given out because of shelter stress. They seemed to like it.

Where can I meet new people online to be friends with? Myspace and Facebook seem to be the frontrunners but it's highly impersonal, everyone is too busy trying to have the highest friend list and no-one ever replies to messages.

is there a more one-on-one website where I can meet people without having to compete with countless social networking whores?

I've tried everything I can to view PNG images. I've looked at similar questions' answers, but none of those have helped.

My firewall is not blocking it. (I disabled it to make sure)

My quicktime isn't over-riding it, I don't think....?? (I read a thing about it,... but I couldn't find the IE preferences)

And I've tried other ways too... but I'm willing to retry them if they show up. I'm thinking that maybe the other ways were outdated, especially since I had to use different ways than they stated to get to certain places (like... options).

Thanks for your help!

My husband and I are interested in adopting a child from foster care. If anybody has any information or experience about this I would really appreciate it. Are you able to specify if you want a closed, open, or semi-open adoption, or is that even a choice? Do you know how often they are at your house or how long the process takes?? Also, we are military and I didn't know if that would be good or bad. We do not feel that we can provide for a child with severe mental/physical handicaps, but we are aware that they will probaly have some behavior or learning disorders. We are wanting to adopt a child (doesn't really matter but prefer a boy) between the ages of 2-4. Thanks for any help!
