First of all, you're asking for some apple/orange comparisons here. The 'Pistols and MCR? No comparison! (The Pistols, of course! For being pioneers!)
You're going to end up with a bunch of different answers based on age groups. The under-25 set is either going to say MCR or GnR. The 25-35 year olds are going to go with Poison, The Scorps, or classic GnR. The 30-45 year olds are going to say Kiss or the Sex Pistols.
Out of the above choices, in order, my ranking would be: The Pistols, Poison, Kiss, The Scorps, GnR, everyone else, then MCR.
