how would you feel if they got away with it and were never caught. is it so hard to believe that after this life they will face God and be judged, they wont get away with such things, would you hope this to be true in this situation?

and do you accept that the atheist faith, is faith that God doesn't exist which still renders it a faith of some sort?

im looking for serious answers, i hope you atheists can be maure about this.

Me and my boyfriend have been together for 3 1/2 years. We have lived together for 3 or a little more years. For the most part we are pretty happy. We have our problems but they are probably for the most part just the normal problems in any relationship. (you know like he doesn't do anything around the house and I don't drive the car like he thinks I should) very minor. All and all we are meant to be I'm not going any where and neither is he. I told him when I moved in that my goal in life is to be married and he said that we would look into it more as time goes on after we saw how our relationship worked out. And I agreed. now after all this time he says that he doesn't beleive in marriage. His parents had a terrible relationship and he basis alot of it on that. but he said he wants us to be together forever he even put me as his beneficiary on everything. I just want us to be married it is important my two kids even consider him as their father what can i do to change his mind?

In America I believe the only real minorities are blacks and hispanics. The percentage of blacks and hispanics in college is way less than the percentage of blacks and hispanics in america. Whereas white women make up the largest proportion of college students. They also live the longest and make up the largest proportion of votes in the US. Also even though they may be discriminated in the workforce unlike blacks and hispanics they get special treatment in the workforce. For example Debra Lafave and Mary Kay Letourneau both slept with guys 20 years younger than them and got probation on their first offense whereas other men in the country who are 18 that have slept with someone less than 16 have gone to prison longer time for it. Also if you look at the case of the ministers wife in tennessee who killed her husband she did not even serve a year and other defendants serve more than that and look at how the andrea yates case was dealt why does no one examine male serial killers.

You know how everyone says that being Gay is a sin? It's an unnatural way to love and that it's caused by the Satan...

Well, I'm Gay and I didn't choose to become it. I find it really prejudice when people hate me because of my lust, I cannot help it and I want people to know that it isn't a choice, it's given to you when you're born.

How about a straight person forced to do it with another of the same gender, would you like that? No. Then stop telling Gays to be straight, it's impossible. I feel saddened when people tell gays that they're "damaging youth" by protesting. How about a straight person being yelled and descriminated at when they talk about loving the opposite gender.

Think about it. It's really unfair to the Homosexuals that we have to be descriminated at for being different, forced that way.

In layman terms earnings per share is the profit the company makes / total no: of shares the company has floated .
Say a company makes 5 Million USD profit , and 50000 shares means 5/50k is the EPS . Am I correct ????
My question then is

1) if there are preferred shares then the profit percentage for preferred shares is deducted from computing the EPS .?

2) doesnt the capital of the company have any significance in computing EPS ?


Recently a company said it is diluting its real estate ( capital ) into business and caused a huge uproar in the stock of the company . they claim if you take the land price alone of the company - the value of the share would be 2000 INR instaed of 600 INR which it is trading today ...is this justified ? I mean real estate is a capital first of all and need not reflect in the profit of the company . Suppose company sells of the whole real estate then this is justified . But is it a reality ?

we have been asked to leave our apartment, on good terms with our landlord. however, when we moved in we knew him personally and never signed a lease. over the course of 2 years, 2 windows have been broken, but other then that the apt. is in excellent condition. i was talkin to my landlords daughter and when i mentioned the sd (it was $1000) she laughed and said we werent getting it back bc of the windows. so i asked my bf if we were getting it back and he said he didnt think so. I have yet to ask my landlord, but without a lease and with no receipt of the $1000, how will i be able to prove that i deserve a good portion of my deposit back? ..another thing mentioned was that we would fix the windows (this was mentioned to the daughter) and she said dont bother that he was keeping the money because he was upset it happened to begin with. not bc he needed it to be replaced. is this fair? btw we live in new york state. please inform me!
