No, they don't have the votes in the house to impeach the criminals Bush or Cheney, which in my opinion is just as bad as the acts themselves.

It should lead to the impeachment of the Vice President, but it won't. The President has been given an out by McClellan, by him suggesting the President may have been lied to as well. Not that I believe that crap, but there you have it. It will serve its purpose regardless. That purpose is to expose the incredible corruption and spin machine the White House has turned into. Just another nail in the Republican coffin for the election in '08.
I would like to point out to those who are always screaming about liberal bias in the media that most newspapers are burying this story in their newspapers. One had to search the Washington Post for this story when it should have been on the front page.

No. I would bet the ranch every word spoken in the Oval office and many other places in the White House are on tape. We're speaking of extremely vain people here glowing with their power. I'll be happy to let history write the story of this President and hope future generations learn something. As far as McClellan, it could get interesting but I wouldn't expect any direct evidence of criminal activity. It's just another little something that looks bad for this administration.

No, rather the Dem's will exploit it and all the other transgression to secure their victory in '08. Then Bush/ Cheney will be out of office and prepared to bail to Panama if the pressure gets to high, doubtful though they are just too rich and connected to ever be held accountable for their CRIMES. Cheney's heart won't last much longer and will frag at any time, so their may be some justice after all.

I really think Pelosi etal are only Faux Democrats. It is obvious they are protecting Bush.
Impeach has to come from the Ethics Committee. To the floor of the House Pelosi controls that flow.
Maybe she wants to be the first Woman President. I can't figure out why she won't push the Impeachment issue.

I don't believe it will lead to impeachment hearings because more is yet to come in the way of discovery about the Bush Administration. We will see far more corruption, lies being uncovered and so forth. That is of more value to the Democrats than impeachment. Once impeached, with about a year left, things may be forgotten. If we let them continue there will be constant reminders of the corruption etc.

No.
Unless someone was smart enough to surreptitiously tape the President or Vice President giving direct instructions to commit a criminal act, they're going to ride it out.
Do I think they gave such instructions? No, it would be the height of stupidity.

I just have this feeling that this is going to drag this presidency down.
I could be wrong, but the mood in Washington is foul these days.
I don't see this turning out well for President Bush...
