what would this tell you if it happened to you??

Your true love who claims to love you honestly and completly stood by and let his drunk mother say bad things about you.. (when she knows absolutley nothing about you except that you make her son happy) for him to NOT SAY A WORD TO HER ABOUT IT.. and his reasoning to me is that she was drunk.. should i just accept this as no big deal or do i have a right to feel very betrayed by him for not telling or asking his mom not to be like that???

how would you feel... male and female answers neeed.
p.s NOT a teenage or young relationship this man is 38 years old ! ! !

Hi, Hope you can help me. I am looking for a spotlight type light to place in the balcony of a church to shine down on a object on the altar in the front of the church. This is for a Christmas Nativity (statues) scene where the light would shine just on the baby Jesus, something that pinpoint...thanks.

We used a turkey with one of those pop up timers. it was a little red plug that popped up when it was finished. anyhoo, when w had took the turkey out of the bag (it was one of those baking bags), we cut into the leg part and found a bunch of pink meat, not sure if it was pink because if wasn't done yet or because it was part of the tendons or something.

Well, they microwaved those parts only and they turned out normal color. My question is, is it normal to have pink parts near the turkey legs? or was that part not done yet.

note, it was cooked in one of those bags. thanks!

Do you think it is a good idea to always be protected from criticism or honest character analysis?

Let me explain. A white person is naturally fearful to say anything evaluating about a minority yest he be, accused of being a racist. People are afraid to say anything to a veteran, they too maybe accused of being unpatriotic. This is also true for homosexuals as well.

Even though civil rights laws and political correctness was a necessary thing, hasn't it got a bit out of hand. How can you be sure how people view you, if they have to tiptoe around you all the time. I personally don't want people to be afraid to ask me a question. If I am doing something the wrong way or am being insensitive, I want people to tell me. I don't want them to not tell out of fear that I might think they are being racist or a bigot.

Should minorites and others be free from criticism? If so why? If not, then why not?

I've been playing the flute for 7 years now and I plan on majoring in music performance in college. As a summer job that would give me opportunities to perform in public, I thought I'd apply to some of the fancier restaurants in my town and ask if they would like a musician. Before I do that, though, I'll need a variety of different works. I thought I'd use some pop music, classical favorites, modern pieces, and genres like that to perform.

I was thinking about Carnivale di Venezia (Carnival of Venice) by Briccialdi/Delorenzo, Syrinx by Debussy, Three Preludes for Unaccompanied Flute by Muczynski, Suite in A Minor by Telemann, and some songs from James Galway's CDs "The Wind Beneath My Wings" and "The Very Best of James Galway." I plan to learn those by ear.

Two questions: Is this enough? I don't really think it is, so if not, what else might be good choices? Preferably, they would have no piano accompaniment, because I won't have one, unless I can find someone.

Thanks!
