You're a moron. Soda is not like the earth. Not even close. The only thing they have in common is CO2, and your experiment doesn't even make SENSE! "One identical soda..." no ****. If it's one soda of course it's identical.

You've demonstrated that CO2 is more soluble in cold water than warm. The warm soda had less fizz because more of its CO2 had already come out of solution into the air space at the top of the bottle.

This neither proves nor disproves man-made global warming, but does illustrate a potential thermal runaway danger - increasing temperature will put more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, further raising temperatures. Of course, there are other factors acting in the opposite direction - warmer climates stimulate plant growth, and plants remove CO2 from the atmosphere. It's a complex system and difficult to predict over the long term.

Well, gas dissolves more easily into cold solutions. Warm solutions release gas. The lamplit soda slowly released some of its CO2 out of solution over the hour long period of your little experiment. The refrigerated soda kept more CO2 dissolved in soution.

On a global scale, cold oceans keep more CO2 in solution. As the ocean heats up due to the increased temperature of the atmosphere above, it will tend to release more CO2 to the atmosphere, thus speeding up the process.

Global warming is not a cult. It is there whether you "believe" it or not. The science proves it: Our planet is heating up.

Even if Global Warming is a legitimate threat (which I believe it is not), there is nothing man can do about it. If these so called "scientists" with evidence of global warming knew anything a 9th grader does, they would know the Second Law of Thermodynamics-that everything(including this earth) is breaking down, not getting better. Liberals are using Global Warming as a political tool. If God wants there to be global warming, then I won't do anything to stop it.

i think the global warming scenario is a money making con for large multinational corperations same as the millenium bug was leading up to the year 2000

Wow, thanks for resolving the whole global warming debate with your experiment. Looks like we can finally move on from that debate.
