The first problem is

y+3 over 4 = 7


the second problem is

(7divided by 3) + x(x-1)=x-2)

couldnt find a sign for division but you get it right?

During which I didn't even get to respond. She just screamed at me on the phone accusing me of "excommunicating" my hubby from his family and accusing me of holding him "hostage" here because we moved 35 miles away and then she told me I am punishing her mother because I took him from his home there. He's 46. It's ridiculous. I wrote her a letter. I asked her to take it nicely and in it, since I didn't get to dispute her accusations the other day, I dispute them and then I tell her it's none of her business and that my husband backs me up on everything I say. To my face he does back me up. Do I send this letter to her? I think it will shut her up. Doesn't matter what I say, she will always hate me, but at least I'll get my 2 cents in.

I have good reasons to do this, and I was even recommended both on yahoo and by a therapist that this would be a rational option ( would rather not go into detail about why I plan on doing it though).

For those of you who had to get of your family system or cut yourself off, did you feel it was a good decision? Did you feel happier or did you regret it?

I don't mind regaining contact with my mom if I take the plunge, because I want to show her something for her own good.....but there's a chance she won't like my decisions and refuse to talk to me. If she refuses to talk to me, I will accept it and move on with myself.

No, talking to my parents and explaining to them how I feel won't help at all (I've tried for many years)If people don't want to change, you can't change them.
