This is not about death, it is about what you fear lives, You apparently have a high level of guilt and remorse and you seem to be a little hard on your self, its OK to make mistakes its how and why we grow. if you can learn to see your self in a better light others will also. let go of the past and be your personal best.

OMG--I dream about my deceased husband all the time but in my dream I am always trying to choose between him and my present husband, not which is better, but more like trying to determine which one I am supposed to be with, like, which one is reality. Anyways, I have dreamed this dream since 2001 and have named it the "make a choice" dream. Maybe yours should be the "hide-a-husband" dream.
After some research I have come up with a reason for the recurring dream and that is: lack of closure. I find my dream disturbing but explain it away with the lack of closure reasoning. At one point I thought the dream had stopped, then it came again. The scenarios are always different but the underlying theme the same. I guess we should just enjoy our subconscious's creativity.

That relates to your need for security with your new husband as well as guilt with your previous husband. Your subconscious thoughts are working out in your dreams so maybe try to come to terms with this in your waking life.
