Is there any Christians that believe that Jesus was a Messiah? and not the son of God??? I think they are called Gnostic Christians right?

A husband and wife decided they needed to use "code" to indicate that they wanted to have sex without letting their children in on it. They decided on the word typewriter.

One day the husband told his five year old daughter, "Go tell your mommy that daddy needs to type a letter".

The child told her mother what her dad said, and her mom responded,"Tell your daddy that he can't type a letter right now cause there is a red ribbon in the typewriter." The child went back to tell her father what mommy said.

A few days later the mom told the daughter, "Tell daddy that he can type that letter now."

The child told her father, returned to her mother and announced, "Daddy said never mind with the typewriter, he already wrote the letter by hand."

I SURE DIDN'T!!!!!!!!!!!!! I personally think that she was the best female character on CSI. She and Grissom were the best couple too! And they were going to get married!!!!! Are they still engaged????? I don't think i'll watch new CSI: Las Vegas episodes until Jorja Fox comes back, unless she has something to do with the particular episode. I will only watch the old ones. (I'm very stubborn aren't I?) I am FURIOUS with that show right now!! I pray and hope Sara comes back!!!!!

LOok im the type of gurl that s not the gold digger, looking for money and material things from guys, but i alwayz end up with losers who have no sort of future.
Is it time for me to start being more selective and put myself up on a pedistal saying "your not good enough for me? n look down on guys

My current ex manz is broke, an ex felon did 8 years in and out the Penitentary, gets fired from his job all the time, lives at home in the living room of his mothers house in the housing projects in the g , two kids by two differnet babys mothers, drug deals on the corner some time, no car, i met him 6 months ago , he still hasnt moved up in life or anything.

My ex mans of 3 years lives at home with his moms, drives a old car, has sort of a job, has a babys mom and a son, he s the same place i met him in his life 3 years ago he hasnt moved up the lader and he's not hard working go getter typ

When they arrived, the madam took one look at them and decided she wasn't going to waste any of her girls on these two old men. So she used "blow-up" dolls instead. She put the dolls in each man's room and left them to their business.

I left my previous job at a large law firm because things did not work out: they were not very happy with my performance at the end - did good but not great, but I learned my lesson, have great credentials and experience, and left on good terms. My previous boss said that he will give me a good reference if asked. What do I say at job interviews when they ask me about the reason I left the previous job? Please don't suggest that I tell the truth because no one will hire me if I admit that the previous firm let me go...

I am graduating this year. My parents don't want me to leave. How can i convince them that i can make it on my own. They have even threaten to take my car away form me, so i cant move. i have had a job for the past year so i have been saving up money, but they just cant seem to let me go.

Jose and Carlos are panhandlers.
They panhandle on different areas of town.
Carlos panhandles just as long as Jose but only collects 2 to 3
dollars every day.
Jose brings home a suitcase FULL of $10 bills, drives a Mercedes,
lives in a mortgage
free house and has a lot of money to spend.
Carlos says to Jose, "I work just as long and hard as you do but how
do you bring home a suitcase full of $10 bills every day?".
Jose says, "Look at your sign, what does it say?" Carlos sign reads, "I have no work, a wife and 6 kids to support."
Jose says, " No wonder you only get $2-3 dollars."
Carlos says, "So what does your sign say?"
Jose shows Carlos his sign.
It reads, "I only need another $ 10.00 to move back to Mexico "

My question is regarding employment law in Illinois. I thought employees were supposed to be given at LEAST 15 minutes break time if they work 6-7 hours straight. My daughter works for Bath and Body Works but has never been allowed even a lunch break. I hope someone can help me with this. Thank you!!

You can't make yourself holy by following a list of do's and don'ts. All holiness originates from God and we are called to live a holy life-a life like God wants us to live. The great commandment in the Law as stated by Jesus was "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment." And the second is like it" You shall love your neighbor as yourself." "On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prohphets." If JWs can have honeymoons, weddings, and rings, let them enjoy Christmas and birthdays. Your organization should consider re-thinking this.

We have automatic toilet flushers in the building I work in. In one area 4 of the toilets don't flush all the way. They begin to flush, and then they just stop. I need to know how remedy this problem.

On Yahoo Answers there are some people who use the title 'Dr' but I suspect - and others agree - that they are bogus - they are not Doctors.

We all know the genuine ones - 'Dr Chris Steele' and 'Dr Simon' are genuine for example.

Has anybody else out there had plain wrong or dodgy advice from a Bogus Doctor on here?

Would they look cheap? Obviously I know diamonds are "better" with more carat weight, but for earrings, is this adequate?

I can get them from Zales online for $99, they were originally $450.

We're still in college and I want to get her something nice. She isn't incredibly picky (but still a girly girl) and I've never given her (real) diamonds before.

My girlfriend has decided that we shouldn't get each other birthday gifts because she may be spending more on my gift than I am on hers? And she may be getting me more gifts?

I told her not to spend too much...but she said she wanted to and then because I'm not able to spend that much at the time she says that she's not buying anything for me then?

What do you guys think about this?
I mean...that's just dumb to me. It's not about how much it's worth...sigh.
