We have automatic toilet flushers in the building I work in. In one area 4 of the toilets don't flush all the way. They begin to flush, and then they just stop. I need to know how remedy this problem.

it is a sensor I think. After you walk away, it will flush in about 5 seconds.

There is a screw beneath the top cap you can adjust to control how long it flushes after it starts. Turning it too far will cause it to run continuously (clockwise on ours) or not flush at all (counter clockwise).

There should be a manual around somewhere which describes the problem you are encountering. Find out who the plumber was who installed the flushers or urinals and ask him. If no good response call the maker of the flush valve.

Are they on timers, or are they the sensor type?

- If it's the kind that plug into an outlet somewhere (timer). That could mean it's time for a new flush clock.

The sensor type might need the photo lens cleaned.
