Would they look cheap? Obviously I know diamonds are "better" with more carat weight, but for earrings, is this adequate?

I can get them from Zales online for $99, they were originally $450.

We're still in college and I want to get her something nice. She isn't incredibly picky (but still a girly girl) and I've never given her (real) diamonds before.

I think she would love them..I don't really think it's the gift that makes us women happy but the thought that goes into getting it. Be sure to have it wrapped really cute & maybe with a stuffed animal or bottle of her favorite perfume,we love that stuff!

Man if you give your girlfriend a gift and she gets disappointed, then that just sucks. She should appreciate anything you give her, 5 bucks worth or 5,000 bucks worth, just as long as it came from your heart. And especially if you were still in college. You have tuiton and all the expenses of being a student.

I surely do hope she appreciates what you give her. Plus on your question, and I guess I have to ask a question too, isn't having more weight for earings more uncomfortable?

The thing that matters is that you give her a gift and this thing will be perfect. After all her years cant be a fortress that can hold up killograms of gold and diamonds?

She'd love it. Diamonds are expensive and beautiful gifts that will last forever, even if you don't. Any girl will be thrilled by diamonds, no matter how small they are.

If she doesn't like them then dump her because she's a gold digger.

Diamonds are diamonds man! Who cares the price!

Your girlfriend should be grateful for any gift she receives, if she's not. then she wasn't raised right.

Women should be more grateful in general. Society today is just wrong for being so materialistic.
