Money (usually) makes you a worse person. Plus you can never be sure if people like you for you or your money.
I think I'd prefer love.

It depends. I would naturally prefer to be with the one I love, but if the financial situation is really bad and shows no signs of improvement I would choose the money. Then I could probably help him out.
It also depends on how much money, if it will last me the rest of my life then I would consider it, but if it's just a small sum then no. Definitely not, cause if I'm going to lose my love it better provide me with superficial happiness until I die.
