ok im 15 and i have no idea what i want for christmas! last year i got a digital camera and this year all i can think of is diamond earrings. any ideas on gifts? i know im stupid, who doesnt know what they want for christmas lol.

Probably not. But intelligent design is interesting because it notes patterns and information within the DNA code.

I don't think one has to be an atheist to be interested in studying these patterns.

Evolutionists are quick to say that the evident "design" in life is a result of random chance. That life only "looks like it was designed."

That's cool with me. But whether or not design is inherent in living systems was initiated by God, or by random chance, we should not be afraid of exploring it.

Oddly enough, many evolutionary scientists shy away from investigating this aspect - probably for fear of losing funding, or giving credence to creationism.

I guess they are more interested in protecting their theories than investigating the truth.

We just got back home and the first place my dad went was the computer.When i was wasnt looking he upgraded to internet explorer 7.I hated it when i say it on the school computers and cant believe just did that.I want internet explorer 6 back but already tried 3 things.I tried restarting computer,going to old version .com but it just made a desktop icon,and system restore.But none did anything.Somebody PLEASE HELP!!!!

The majority of answers here offer conseling as a means of reconciliation. Are there any mature people here who relied on themselves to solve their relationship woes. I personally feel that if you can't fix your own relationship how can a stranger do it for you. What has any counselor ever told you that you and your partner didn't already know?

I do understand how it works. Counselors are there for mediation and to be impartial. My point is if your partner refuses to be honest behind closed doors, why would anyone want someone who has to be forced to change who they are to be with you? Don't you ever think that they know they are wrong, but refuse to change? Why drag them to a "professional" talker to try to get them to admit they've been wrong. It just seems like a fad to me.

I am looking for a cheap laptop to buy on ebay.
The requirements I have are:
- Less than $260, including shipping.
- Pretty new (at least Windows XP)

I have checked circuits ,they are fine. I tested wires to circuits and they are not getting any current. Could it be a receptacle which had a portable heater plugged into it. there is not obvious burn mark in receptacles anywhere in room. I have tried everything but changing out every outlet. any sugesstions before I have to call an electrician. Thank you ps. circuit breakers are fine-fuses are fine.

My father died very suddenly just a few weeks ago.. he was young (in his 40s), with no health problems and basically, just fell and died for no reason within minutes. I was extremely close to him and spent the first couple of days very upset. However, I have not cried in over a week, and I feel like I should be in bits.. but I am already back at work etc and feel like this is not how I should be behaving! I feel so guilty, because I really did love my dad (I still do) and am well aware he is not coming back, but I just feel that I should be more upset. Has anyone else had any similar experiences?

I want to plant a Mid- sized, Tree or a Plant, Read and help me decide wht I want :)

1) Sentimental Value, remebering a person.
2) Can survive Winters In Ukraine ^_^ (most imp)
3) Leaves may be any colour, even orange.
4) Flowers, which people will not get tempted to cut and rob it :D
4) Nice smell, or just looks nice.
5) May or may not have fruits.
6) Not very Bright coloured.
7) Unique; Imported plants will do.
8) Doesnt grow more than 1.5 story tall
9) Doesnt become a mess
10) Dark green leaves, yellow organge or red fruits, flowers? or something like tiss is in my mind.

I would plant which is famous, or unique in Areas of Europe, such as England, Poland, Germany or even Switz.
Any suggestions on wht to plant around it, like small flowers, around the main plant :)

My dad went to a Presbyterian Church when he was a kid. His dad and mom were both Baptized and his dad (my Grandpa), got to put th first shovel in the ground for the Cornerstone of the Church. My dad's a Christian, but he's never been Baptized. He doesn't go to the Baptist Church where my mom goes and I go to. We go with my grandma. My mom got Baptized at 8. I just got Baptized and I'm in my teens. I just want my dad to go to Church. When I ask him why he doesn't go, he says he's too busy. I say you shouldn't be too busy for God. He then goes and gets mad if I say anymore and wants to go drink beer. And sometimes does, that's why I don't play that trick with him. How can I get him to go to Church. My mom just says let go and let God. Thanks!!

I have a 15 year old who has little contact with her father I know that she's going to be especially afraid of something happening to me. Even though they are pretty sure it's 1st stage breast cancer and the prognosis is good how do I help her deal with her fear? I also have to deal with what I'm going through are there support groups for the families or children of cancer patients?

My husband and I have argued about this....are you still married after death? I say no because what happens if a widower re-marry....then do they have two, three husbands after death?? We are allowed to re-marry when a spouse dies because the union has been cut, but...doesn't man and woman long for one another? I mean Adam was made and was in complete union with God. There was a close bond, but yet God knew Adam needed a woman. Thus woman was created, so wouldn't this still be the case in heaven? Wouldn't we still long for human companionship...are does in end after death???

Please respond if you believe in God, because I do believe in Him, thus I am seriously looking for answers from those that believe because this is something that I have wondered for a while, and I am very curious about what other people think that believe in life after death.
