Do some fundraising like car washing with signs telling people what the fundraising is for. You can contact companies like coke or chocolate companies that you can tell them about the mission trip and if they're willing to donate some products for you to sell and maybe they may want a small percentage back.
It doesn't hurt to try.
Otherwise, you can try getting a loan from your parents or a bank.
God bless with your mission.

I would sell some stuff on ebay. It is so easy now adays to do this from home, no major work involved, and it is quicker than maybe other methods mentioned here. Do you have a unique talent, something you could sell on ebay, such as crafts and the like.
You could ask people in your community to help sponsor you by giving you unused/not wanted items that you could list there. Ebay is all about charities too, so you could even list that it is for a charity and people will do what they can.
The only other option would be to either get a job, or if you have one, another job. Or, you could start a website and ask people to help you out, I have seen others do that, and it does work. You could use Paypal as your source to accept payments and people would make donations.
Aside from all of this, you should really be proud of yourself for wanting to make a difference. I do want to caution you though, and tell you to be very careful. Make sure the people that are getting this together are trustworthy individuals, and that they are not out to either scam you or possibly, and I know this will sound crazy, but there are people out there, that see a beautiful girl who is a bit naive about things, and think to use you, sell you, or whatever they can to make money off of you. So please please please research these folks carefully. I would ask to speak with others that have done this trip and have come home.
Good luck!

Work for Blackwater Security in Iraq. You'll have $3,000.00 your first two weeks there, plus it's tax free if you stay there long enough.
Or you could hold a bake sale at least twice every month, Get 10 of your neighbors to allow you to do minor chores around their yard or houses for 50 bucks a month each. Sell t-shirts. Open a web page with a paypal account accepting donations with your story. Car Washes. Selling naked photos of your pets (get it, cat or dog with no clothes?). Sell buttons, or open a christmas decorations business. Ask the CIA to sponsor a trip and tell them that you will spy on Venezeula while you are down there in return. Ask your heavenly father first to bless your efforts as you persue which ever means. By the way, working in war zones is not advised as a means to accomplish your goals of helping people find the gospel.

Well if your old enough get a job.
-Department stores at the mall
-your local grocery store
But if your not you have to do as much as possible to try to raise 3,000!
So I personally have earned a LOT of money from babysitting.. what you should do is put up fliers in like a grocery store so ppl can see.
Also, Walking dogs gives you a lot of money too. I do cross country so over the summer i had to do a TON of training!! so I would find a dog to walk and just go on a jog with the dog and I get paid and a great workout!
-Shovel Snow Off Neighbors Driveway
-Rack Leaves

There are a lot of ways out there to make money. For one, you can have a garage sale. Maybe your friends or relatives have things they're willing to give up to help you. Even if they ask for a small cut, you'll make money. Depending on your age, you can also get a job. There are tons of contests out there, and some of them are specifically made for things like this. If you have a birthday or holiday coming up where you get money, you could ask for money instead of gifts..Save up! =]
This might be a little extreme, but you could make a website and sign up with Google Ads. It's a great way to make money!

There are a lot of ways to raise money. You can find fundraisers such as Krispy Kreme that anyone can do as long as they have a legitimate reason. You can sell them at your church and to friends. Also, you can do odd jobs for people. This will require work, but if what you need the money for seems worth it this is a good way to earn money. Finally, selling things you no longer want can be a quick way to raise money, just make sure you sell it to/at a place that is responsible and widely used and known.

well that last answer was rude.
ok well I WILL TAKE THE TIME TO READ.
so...hmmm i would say
1. garage sale
2. car washes; lemonade stands
3. get some old stuff (gently used) and try and sell it to your parents co workers, or somethin like that.
4. how old are you? maybe you could get a temporary job on weekends or after school?
5. get some friends to help you too...but don't let them have any money. your cause is good enough, and they should respect that.
that's really hard that you have to raise it by yourself...i truly hope that you get to go. good luck!! i hope that i helped!

Well you have 5 months, I suggest trying to find sponsors in your local church because after all it is for a good cause. You can also see if you have any good things worth selling and have a small tag sale. The most common thing to do thought would be to get a part time job. Good Luck! Where theres a good cause, theres always a way~God Bless.

ok, the retard with the TL/DR comments on every question, needs to be tossed off a cliff.
Anyway...
Hold a fundraiser garage sale, ask friends, family and neighbors to contribute. Work a part time job, hold a bake sale, walk dogs, mow lawns, etc. Look up fundraising on the net.
Good luck, i hope you make it!
