Ps3
-has more features (such as gaming, karoake, guitar & rockband, internet browsing),
- it is also one of the best DVD upscalers (your dvds will look amazing),
-has the abilty to update software via the internet,
-bluetooth remote is a godsend (you can be another room and still control the DVD player;
-no more needing to point the DVD remote),
- it is cheaper or the same price as stand alone.

Blu Ray Stand alone is more simpler to use -less menus.

The Blu-ray on the PS3 it is cheap built & it is missing futures. The Blu-ray disk player it is rich built,more futures,has more extras media,upgrade sound & ect.

It is like saying "which DVD is better"? The PS2 that cost $150 or SONY DVD player & with HDMI/1080i that cost $400? I will go for Sony DVD player.

Any people don't buy the PS3 because they are some are not gamers. That's why people buy the Blu-ray player instead.

the cheapest blu-ray player out there is the PS3 and has full hd support and also plays games and you can buy the bluetooth remote for it which is very nice, also you can view pictures and store music on it so it is a media center too, so the ps3 is a better investment.

Not particularly. If you have a dedicated player you may see some benefits, but the PS3 does have the advantage of its upgradeable firmware to keep it up to date.
