An Egyptian woman has filed for divorce from her husband on the grounds that he has not showered since they married.
The wedding took place two months ago.
It was a quick courtship for Yara Saad Al-Din, 23, and Aysar Ali, 31, who got engaged two weeks after meeting on an airplane, AlArabiya reported.
But a couple of months into the marriage and the honeymoon is over. Ali recently confessed to his blushing bride that he hasn't showered in all eight weeks of their union, and now the missus is ready to change her marriage vows to "till dirt do us part."
Ali claimed he could not bathe because of a skin disease which made him allergic to water. While a doctor confirmed Ali had a skin disease, he also said it had nothing to do with water.
Al-Din filed for divorce. When Ali refused to grant her one, she filed for khol’a – an arrangement within Islam which will grant a woman a divorce if she renounces some financial rights.
An investigation into khol’a turned up countless unusual reasons for divorce:
- An engineer in Port Said filed for divorce because her veterinarian husband insisted on keeping cats and dogs in the house.
- A civil servant divorced her husband because he had bad breath from eating too much garlic and because he did not wash his feet.
- An Egyptian housewife filed for khol’a after her husband refused to let her go to her father’s funeral.
- A sorcerer's wife filed for a divorce after he refused to give up his job.
Would you want to divorce because of these reasons??

If you were wrong, and you weren't going to an afterlife where you get to be all perfect etc, would that be your worst fear?

If that was the case, why would you ever give up your faith? Even if you suspected that you were wrong, you would deny it, right?

The government are on people's backs for being overweight. I personally think it is bullying. I myself am not overweight, but I am neither offended by it or feel the need to verbally attack anyone who is overweight.
Yes it is bad for your health being overweight and people need to be educated. But I think the media and the government are going about it all the wrong way. Shouldn't the companies that produce unhealthy meals be the one's that the government approach first and foremost, stop this rubbish from getting onto supermarket shelfs in the first place and we are half way there!

Everyday I log onto the internet and I notice that the focus is on Britney Spears' mounting problems and constant poor decision making. If they insist on prying into the private lives of celebrities, why wait outside of rehab for the press conference of yet another broken celebrity? Why not focus on the celebrities that choose to do good things or at least keep themselves sober on a camera? I think this is negatively impacting our society. It has become social norm to be a recovering drug addict. It is now fashionable to be an alcoholic. And it is now necessary to be known as a party girl. Why are we allowing the young and foolish to shape our culture? Why not praise those who are not out there making youth look bad?

Hi I'm Nick from New Jersey. Im going with my class for a field trip. But the problem is, I dont have friends there. Another class is going for a field trip next month. If I cannot attend the field trip with my class this month, then I will have to attend next month with another class. I have friends there in the next class which is scheduled next month. I want to attend to the next class but the problem is my classmates might think that I dont want to be part of the class, they may think of me as an outcast and if that happens, I would have a harder time making friends in my class. So what should I do? Should I attend with my class this month? or attend the next month with me enjoying but taking the risk of worstening my situation in my class? Please help me decide...

The Geography of a Woman
------------------------
Between the ages of 18 - 21 a woman is like Africa or Australia. She is half discovered, half wild and naturally beautiful with bushland around the fertile deltas.

Between the ages of 21 - 30 a woman is like America or Japan. Completely discovered, very well developed and open to trade especially with countries with cash or cars.

Between the ages of 30 - 35, she is like India or Spain. Very hot, relaxed and convinced of its own beauty.

Between the ages of 35 - 40 a woman is like France or Argentina. She may have been half destroyed during the war but can still be a warm and desirable place to visit.

Between the ages of 40 - 50 she is like Yugoslavia or Iraq. She lost the war and is haunted by past mistakes. Massive reconstruction is now necessary.

Between the ages of 50 - 60 she is like Russia or Canada. Very wide, quiet and the borders are practically unpatrolled but the frigid climate keeps people away.

Between the ages of 60 - 70 a woman is like England or Mongolia. With a glorious and all conquering past but alas no future (a bit like Tony Blair, maybe Blair's a women really).

After 70, they become Albania or Afghanistan. Everyone knows where it is, but no one wants to go there.

The Geography of a Man
------------------------
Between the ages of 15 - 70 a man is like Zimbabwe - ruled by a dick.
