What does anyone actually lose? If they lose some sort of a state of grace, didn't they lose that when they first had thoughts of a sexual nature? (and I am NOT putting that down in any way as it is only natural). To consider loss of virginity a consequence of a physical act is to reduce a human body to some kind of object. Sort of "Has the object been damaged? Oh well, it must be worthless." That would be a terrible way to think about yourself or another human being. We are all so much more than that. So, in answer to the question "who will I lose it to" (or in my case. who DID I lose it to, assuming there was anything to lose) the answer is TO ME because it was MY free will, my body, my mind that I chose to share with another person ... and I feel I LOST nothing.
