I'd like to know what kind of clothes i need to take with me. I come from a very hot country, the coldest it gets in winter is 12 C, i think. So i'm not sure what kind of clothes i'll need to take with me to japan. Please help me out! Be as detailed as you can. i need all the help i can get! thanks in advance

Tokyo itself is much warmer than most of the area around it, sadly because of the large human population being squeezed in a relatively small place. Jacket, hat, and gloves are still a must in January, I suggest putting a few layers on, that way you can adjust quickly on the fly. If you do go out of Tokyo, remember the temp will drop by as much as 8 degrees (C).

the same you would wear in New York or London in January.it gets COLD in Japan in the winter.......0 C or worse ( 32 or worse in Fahrenheit )

I live in the Caribbean and whenever I go North, no matter what time of year, I freeze!
