my manager is trying to give me a run around in this issue. the money that i as asked to pay is the amount that i paid for my H1 visa fee. this was supposed to be paid by the company but they asked me to pay myself after i joined the company. they should have let me know this before i joined the company and i was left with no choice at that point rather than paying from my pocket. they reimbursed the amount later but they gave it as a sign-on bonus and since i am leaving before the contract ended, they are asking to pay it back. i really dont want to pay. the amount, it is $3,600. But i am worried that if i leave without paying them, will my new employer know about this which might give them a very wrong impression on me. can my current employer contact my new employer? is this legal?

Hi everyone. I was wondering what you all might think about this. A good friend of mine has a little girl who is 11 years old. The little girl is a pretty sensitive and does have some anxiety at times. She is just a normal little girl who enjoys life most of the time. My friend mentioned to me that her daughter told her this weekend that her head is telling her to put her hand in the oven and burn herself, but her heart tells her no. FYI.. her dad is military and is away from time to time. Her Mom works full time. My friend her mom is concerned about this and wonders if she should get a professional to evaluate her, or should she just let it ride. She is thinking along the lines that she might be trying to get attention, but at the same time doesn't want this to slide. What do you think? Thanks

I was just talking to my sister this morning, and we were discussing some spiritual things. I was just wondering if this happens to other people? I will give an example from my own life.
I was driving in my car, listening to a really good Christian song which I love. I was praising God with all of my heart. All of a sudden, I felt myself outside myself, and I was actually "soaring" above in the air, and I felt so light as a feather, and so joyful, I don't have human words to describe it. Has anyone else ever felt this way? This isn't the only time I've experienced this. It has happened several times to me. I could actually feel myself flying through the air.

I don't know what kind of paint it is, but it's translucent. It's on a glass bowl that has roses embossed in it, so there a lot of nooks and crannies. It was probably applied at the glass factory and they wanted to to make it look like old carnival glass. I've tried ethyl acetate, toluene and acetone. Acetone seemed to work the best, but there's a few places that are stubborn, especially in the design.

I got a handwritten letter from my ex 3 months post break up. She basically said she didnt like how things ended and I did mean a lot to her and she does care. She said I was one of the most important people in her life because I made her realize she needed to change. (No she did not cheat) I decided any girl who cared that much was worth giving a friendship a try. I can tell a difference in her. Okay...I'm very much so suspecting that I'm pregnant. I've missed my period for this month, and everybody around me keeps saying it, as if they're pointing out something that I'm blind of knowing. I've been vomiting at least once a day for the past week or so, a couple of days I didn't go through that though, and I've been having hot flashes.

But I've also been "wetter" than usual. All weekend, my panties have been slightly damp, where I've never experienced that before. Also, I just came from the restroom and when I wiped, I had a LOT of mucus'y looking, clear, slimy stuff on the tissue. I know that this usually happens when I'm ovulating, but that would've been at the BEGINNING of the month.

So I guess my question is...is this NORMAL for early pregnancy? Or is there a chance that I'm NOT pregnant and that there's SOMETHING else going on?

And no...I have not confirmed my suspicions with an e.p.t., but I have been paying very close attention 2 my body, 'n I'm sure I am
