Personal righteousness?

is the cleansing agent accordint to Gordon hinkley. I thought we needed Jesus righteousness?

It is the righteousness of Jesus that is the cleansing agent..However, we are supposed to strive for Personal righteousness, because we are supposed to try annd live like Christ...which was a holy and righteous life.

Noone should need a religious doctrine to tell them whats right and wrong, they should be able to work that out for themselves.
