I am a Christian. Why? Because I don't want to go to hell and I most importantly I want to go to heaven ^^

I did experience a few miracles and therefore got very confident that God is helping me.

However, I am a very skeptical person. I don't delude or fool myself nor do I easily get convinced.

I one day started to doubt the miracles for being mere coincidences. "What if I did not pray? Would I still have recieved the same results?"

That is why i tried not to pray and ask God for help for a while.

Guess what? Miracles still happened!

That is why I understand the truth that praying never had any role in the miracles or fortunes in life.

God answering prayers just that He says no or yes has no difference from not praying or praying.

Never in my life have I gotten any sign or proof that God exists.
Not even one! Ambigious miracles are already disproven as explained.

I want to go to heaven but I just seem to sway away from Christianity now.

My husband is in the Army right now and deploying to Afghanastan. While he is over there he plans on re-enlisting, but he also told me about the National Guard full time. He said it is very rare for them to deploy, and you basically stay in the same spot the whole time you are in. But the down side is it's hard to get into a spot, and it's hard to make rank. Does anyone know about how to get into this, if it's true about not deploying much, what about rank.
Also I am worried about the rank, he went from E1 to E5 in 2 1/2 years, and most hopefully will make E6 once he hits his four year mark. I am worried about him still being able to make rank, because this is very important to him ad he works hard for it, I don't want him to re-enlist for something like this and be miserable.
Is there any other options to stay at the same base the whole time, other than civilian. Can you still retire after 20 years?
As much information you know about thi would be a great help, thank you!

I am flying home to be with my family who live on the other side of the country. I have recently started dating a new guy (for one month) and things were going fairly well. My family was interested in meeting him and had invited him to Thanksgiving dinner.
In the last two weeks of getting to know him better there have been many things about him that I have really started to dislike a lot. I don't think that it is a good idea that he goes with me to see my family (who I haven't seen in a year and a half) anymore. I told him that I would re-emburse him for the plane ticket he purchased, but he was still really upset that he couldn't go with me anymore. On top of my concerns for how I am liking him - I know that it would be an added burdon on my elderly Great-Aunt who would be hosting us. He was really upset that I just wanted to go back by myself.

Was I wrong for dis-inviting him?

Normally i wouldn't give two shits about what the patriots or any other AFC team was up to but my god, that team needs to tone it down. We get it, you're good, you don't need to act like ***** any more. Aren't their unwritten rules about running up the score in a game? Be good sportsman and don't try to humiliate other teams.

Trust me, people are going to celebrate their downfall.

Which of the following reasons accounts for the fact that dominant alleles that cause lethal disorders are less common than recessive alleles that cause lethal disorders?
A) Unlike lethal disorders caused by recessive alleles, lethal disorders caused by dominant alleles usually cause death of the embryo.
B) Most individuals carrying a lethal dominant allele have the disorder and die before they reproduce, whereas individuals carrying a lethal recessive allele are more likely to be healthy and reproduce.
C) Many lethal recessive alleles cause enhanced disease resistance when they are present in the heterozygous state, and carriers of these alleles have more children, on average, than other people.
D) The presence of a lethal dominant allele causes sterility.
E) Lethal disorders caused by dominant alleles are usually more severe than lethal disorders caused by recessive alleles.

I heard the rumor that Islam is the fastest growing religion. Do you think these minority groups would be happy to have Muslims to join to their religion? All of them believe Jesus is Messiah?
